Quick question everyone - what respectably priced moisturiser would you reccomend for really dry skin? My Garnier stuff isn't really working anymore
I used to use L`Oreal Revitalift when my skin was really dry, think you can use your blinkie on it, cost about a fiver if you can
Mimi, my thoughts are with you & your family, hope all goes well x0 -

I don't have dry skin, but my moisturiser works well on my boyfriend's dry skin. I use Biore Shine Control Moisturiser, it feels so light when applied and smells lush0 -

I am normally a Chanel girl but I have been buying a lot of No7 and I recently opened the large black gift box that was 1/2 price and 342 before Christmas and have started to use everything in that, so I am assuming that is my problem. Anyone else have problems with No7 skincare? Also any quick cures for the spots?
Thank you for any tips you might have for my spotty complexion.
I'm the same, (late 40's..never had spots)....til now!
I've been using the cream from the Olay GWP (purple box). Anyone else reacted badly to this?0 -

It often seems so futile, if you only "say a prayer"
But really, it's a massive thing, to show someone you care
When illness or bereavement, or troubles hurt your life
When times seem hard and weary and beset with grief and strife
It's nice to know there's someone, though you've never seen their face,
Who thinks of you as quite a mate, out there in cyberspace
And though we're all anonymous, and though this might sound twee
I like to think I'm part of the Bootsing Family!
I know I speak for lots of us, for all your kin we'll pray
That sunshine soon will fill your world, and clouds will drift away
So Mimi just remember, there's lots of folk out there
Who'll never see or meet you - but for you we'll "say a prayer".

Dad's got his last stage of chemo (hickman line and transplant) starting tomorrow, and will be in hospital for a few weeks. I'm hoping it goes OK and that he will come out fine. Please can all of you say a little prayer for him whenever you can, and one for the family as well. Everyone seems really upset at home. Sorry, I know I'm not meant to chat on here, but I just did. Ooops.
Thanks all. x x Mimi x x
I was just thinking about your Dad today. Hope goes OK for him and hope you and your family stay strong for him and yourselves. If you want to 'talk' about it, PM me
