Hi everyone, had a couple of trips to Boots this week - Managed to get rid of Blinkies and add to the pressie stash for the year.

Shop 1
No7 Nourishing nail & cuticle care
No7 stay perfect nail colour Damson Dream (looks lush)
No7 stay perfect nail colour Betty Blues (looks even lusher )
No7 GWP - plum lippie and points voucher inside

Shop 4
S&G Large toiletries bag *** paid with points (have noticed that these are included on the 342 offer on .com, wondering if I could take back to store and ask for refund and then take up the 342 offer. There was no sign on the bags as they are kept in another display and I just did'nt thnk, lol

Today went to Ely for a change - remembered to check AC machine and only gave me a 200 pts on £25.00 spend wanted a £5 P&P to get a hand cream for my hamper, oh well, I'll try again on Tuesday at Kings Lynn. Do offer's sometimes change on the AC machine ???

Found JF Bru shine release intense conditioner £1.35 and JF Bru shine release shampoo £1.18 on the clearance shelf used my £2 off pro hair and got both for 53p:T Also found 2 Gillette Fusion Power razors with a Gel and balm all in a little plastic case for £3.20 so grabbed a couple of these to take it to £6.93 spend and earn a wrinklie.

Shop 4 &5
JF Bru shine release intense conditioner & JF Bru shine release shampoo after £2 voucher 53p :T:T. I'm not even brunette, but my bstf will appreciate them as a little cheerup pressie with some lush stuff.

No HE reduced on the sel in old packaging although shelf was stocked and showing full price. Christmas crackers left and a few odds and sods but nothing really worth mentioning. Will report back on KL on tuesday -

It's on ebay for £19, seller has a lot of boots items, so presumably must have been cheaper at some point.

GOT 2 X GWPS TODAY THE NEW NO7 ONES, I OPENED one quickly and the colour is hideous an orangy thing, normally i don't do ebay but both have the same code and no vouchers so will be getting rid asap and am needing to find some with different codes, not being greedy wanted 2 of these one for the antiques roadshow( have amased rather a collection of no7 gwps now lol) and one to use lol but with a plum or the like colour lippy!!!!!

also spent out on some lancome today but i had a voucher that would not go through so i had to change an item that i bought to get it through - after complaining, erm sorry whinging lol she gave me some extra samples and what looks like a new gwp a black shiny/sparkly bag with 4 things in has a date on the front which says startdate 1st feb 2009, so this must be for next week?

I believe that was in the 75% sale, but is now at full price, online at least - don't know if there are any left in stores. It's a very nice bag, though

That sounds logical julie. However, in my store the peachy coloured range were all in a line and the Moisture Lotion was bang smack in the middle, same box and pattern on box indicating it was in the same range. And the sign was 342 on the Body Beautiful range. Hmm confusing. I guess they got the wording wrong and didn't make the offer clear.

Tresemme had a huge brush with a comb and clips etc on 75% off which worked out at a couple of quid. Hths

I went straight to the ACM today to get another P&P voucher and it was no longer there! Tried another machine, but still not there. I think this is strange as I have only printed one and used it (along with a blinkie). On wednesday I returned to the ACM to check something and was still there after I'd printed one, although not used it. I don't know if anyone managed to print one today? Wondered if Mr B had cottoned onto the blinkie/P&P combo? Will probably maracliously appear again Monday. hmm..


anyway, the last 6 blinkies went today Miss you haha.

I did however manage to use the voucher for No7 from latest GWP no beeps on an item from the last chance to buy shelf along with a blinkie if this helps anyone.

However, I was also not impressed to see a whole shelf of the xmas 342 bathing gift bags and S&G gift bags on sale for.... wait for it.... A POUND!!! Tut tut Mr B I don't think people are going to fall for that one!!

Went to Rochdale, Chadderton and Elk Mill today

No reduced HE, Radox or Method handwash - just empty spaces on the shelves.

Managed to get a couple of Gillette foam reduced to 49p and 39p

At Elk Mill the Naked Starflower bath foam and handwash were both reduced from £3.91 to 98p, and the Naked Manuka Honey Hand lotion was also reduced to 98p.

Got 2 more GWP after using last blinkies and P&P ACM vouchers; 2 more Plum Beautiful with vouchers. No more P&P vouchers from ACM - I wonder if they will be back after blinkies expire? Last week I printed out 3 so have used all those.

In Chadderton Dove body wash reduced to 56p and Dove Pro Age bath reduced to 49p (quite a big bottle this one)

If that's the case I would take them back and explain. If the signage is wrong (which it appears to be in this case) they will usually honour it. In my experience Boots have always been good about things like mispricing. I know my local one has honoured a 342 offer when signs were still up after the offer had ended.
