Still trying to catch up (and failing  lol) but when I sorted through yesterdays receipts I remembered that the Boots Expert Sensitive Conditioning Shave Gel 200ml was 61p on SEL (see below). In another store there were further reductions on at least one other of this blue packaged range, but can't think what it is right now  It might be worth looking for. Hths

    http://www.boots.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?storeId=10052&productId=34614&callingViewName=&langId=-1&catalogId=11051

(Men seem to be getting some real bargains lately don't they? ;))

My DH got a £1.50 off boots expert range today out of the acm and used it to buy 2 x reduced shave oils both reduced to 98p each, so only 48p after the voucher:)

I had a very similar thing happen to me Sarah.

As I walked away from the counter the SA approached one of her colleagues to moan about me returning 2 .com items, & also using blinkies. I calmly turned around and said .... "excuse me, but if you have a problem with me using vouchers that are issued by Boots as a customer incentive, and also with me returning items from .com in conjunction with their online returns policy, then perhaps you need to ask your Manager to provide you with a refresher training course, as you have clearly not been brought up to date with your Companys' Policies. Oh, and it might also be an idea to keep your gossip to the staff room, and not to talk about customers on the shop floor, where both they and other customers may overhear, as I have. I don't think CS would view this as very customer friendly or professional, do you?" With that I walked away, leaving a very red-faced and embarrassed SA who is now very polite to me.

There is no excuse for bad manners in any walk in life, and at the end of the day the SA's that have this attitude problem need to realise that without our custom they could very well be joining the growing unemployment queue. It is also a shame, as the vast majority of SA's are lovely.

well done on putting her in her place, :T some of them think it comes out of their wages they way they act towards people using vouchers:mad:

No Sally, I went to a manned till.

I have just put the three items in the basket online (Blissful Body Wash, Sumptuous Bath Soak & Completely Quenched Moisture Lotion) and it says 'Missed Offer' indicating that the total of the three items didn't qualify for the GWP (although it comes to £24ish). So I'm wondering whether the Moisture Lotion isn't included although it should be?

The 342 is on Indulgent Bathing (the peachy coloured range) and I don't think Completely Quenched Moisture Lotion comes under that range. If they are all still in the boxes you could try taking them back and swapping for another Indulgent Bathing product and then get a refund for the third item.

There is a free booklet called "Love Notes" that I saw near the Boots mags and also laying on counters near cosmetics/perfume (red and pink cover). I just picked it up -- it's free with or without a Boots card. On the inside of the back cover is a voucher for £5 of points when you buy any product from the Girard Range. It doesn't say what that is, but everything advertised in the booklet is perfume. Edit: Just looked online, and Girard is Boots-brand perfume. Some of them come with a free bag with purchase; perhaps this is in-store too and you could get the points and bag. Not really cheap, though, starting at 24.xx for the ones that come with a bag, and 17.xx for the ones that don't.

I also thought it funny/cheeky that the little plastic pink Natural Collection bags we all got free with an NC purchase over the summer, and that some stores later reduced to £1, are now sitting with the Valentine's gifts display marked at £4.88!
I saw these sets in canterbury and ramsgate stores, reduced to just under £9.00 hth
  • the acm machines weren't working in our boots this morning - gutted - i was hoping my mum would have gotten the £5 off p&p voucher

never mind - used my last blinkie and the voucher out of the gwp to get p&p hand cream and 3 reduced advanced hydration day fluids & gwp
plus olay total effects radiance enhancing cream wash with the £5 off skincare voucher
and a couple of bags of 75% off choclate coins for toddler-bribes

so spent 16.50, saved 11.50 and got 314 points

and best of all - got the plum beautiful lippy i was after in my gwp - yay!
  • Hi all,

Went into my local Boots today and spied the No7 GWP which is lovely. I had the £5 off voucher which expires tomorrow and noticed some products were on 342. I got three items from the 'Body Beautiful' range. One priced at £9.05 and two at £7.80. When I handed over my voucher the till appears to have deducted only the £5 and not the 342 also. Is this the case now? Have the tills been adjusted so you can only take advantage of one offer?

    Hope that makes sense. Thanks!

the signs for the 3 for 2 on that range had been taken down in my boots - they were up on thursday and that's what i had been planning to buy, but today it was only 3 for 2 on naturals collection, soap and glory and elle mcpherson

I could only find the Model me range reduced, and the 150pt AC voucher beeped. Are others having the same problem? It was exactly the same the last time this time offer was on.

If you mean the Toni&Guy voucher, it beeped for me too on SS tills. Too much effort to make a fuss because the SA had already had to override loads (none of the clearance items were going through properly!)

Out of interest, do people scan the clearance label barcode or the product barcode when using the SS tills? Whenever I scan the clearance label, it comes up as 'unsold clearance item'

Xmas toys with the green pressie box stickers are now full price.

Tried arguing with SAs in two stores that these were Xmas and should be 75%, but no good.

I did speak to the SA about it and got her to refer to someone in authority and they said i could have for the 75% off price!!!!
