Being male, I have no need for the GWP nor any of the products that would need to be purchased to get the GWP, but I half want one just to see what shade lipstick I'd get and whether I'd get a voucher! :rotfl:quote]
Have you seen the mens range of NO7 + the mens GWP?:hello:

Someone said about Boots being like a part time job - well it is! I've saved £70 today! I find it fun looking for the items, and though I might not get all the glitches mentioned, or bargains, I get some, which is great.
I can't afford to spend £20 on presents for everyone I know for Birthdays & Christmas, and unfortunately, I seem to visit a lot of friends in hospital, or who are having BC treatment nowadays, and it's so nice to take them bags of toiletries.
What can you do when a dear friend has been recently widowed, and the relatives who said "I'll be round every week now. We must keep in touch" stop coming? And believe me, they do.
What I can do is go round for a cuppa, hold her hand while she cries her heart out, listen, and then leave a bag of goodies. Then the next time, I can take my box of varnishes etc, offer to do her nails (making sure I've got my magnifying specs on!), and leave a little gift of some of the No 7 stuff I've got for next to nothing with a Pinkie or Blinkie.
For us oldies, just like for you youngsters, Bootsing is cheap, fun, and educational. My brain is finely honed through working out the right combinations to get the best deals, and as we do a crossword each on the train, we're keeping the brain cells going at full speed!
If I sat down and made a list of all the grief I've got in my family at the mo, I'd think the best thing would be to stay under the duvet. But you can't! You've got to nail a smile on your face, and get on with it, and you find that after a few hours, you've forgotten not only your troubles, but your aches and pains.
Get old - never! Stay young-at-heart - you bet!

Obviously the code on the outside (not the bar code, the other one) signifies the colour of the lippy (and if it has a voucher).
whereabouts is the non-barcode-code on the plastic wrapper?0 -
Hi, I don`t post very often but would like to thank each and every one of you that have posted about all the bargains around at the moment, going to Boots tomorrow and hopefully get myself some bargains;)
I have one little question, do Boots take luncheon vouchers and can you use them on anything or does it have to be on foodie items only, many thanks:)
Hi Linditip,
Yes, Boots do take luncheon vouchers. Good luck with your shopping trip.
Also to add to the GWP lippy/voucher debate, I got Pink Icing SPF lippy with a voucher. Code on plastic sleeve is 29294 488."Go placidly amid the noise and haste and remember what peace there may be in silence": Desiderata0 -

So 488 & 029 & 685 have the voucher.
Someone mentioned Luncheon Vouchers. I didn't know they still issued them! I had those when I first went to work millions of years ago and they were for 3 shillings (15p).
With that, you could get a 3 course meal!0 -
Oops sorry, someone asked where the number was on the GWP. If you turn it over, you'll see the bar code is on the white bit, listing the contents, and The Other Code is just below, and not on the white bit.0

Just tracked down the plastic from my first gwp.
Divine (05) - 29294 488 - with voucher
That seems to be the same number as was on SandraScarlett's one with Golden Rose in - interesting.0 -
Sandra I do so love your posts.
The more mature (older) bootsers on this thread are so witty I think, as well as being wiser which is a bonus.
