Does anyone know if you can use extra points vouchers on SS tills without SA assistance? I have a trevor sorbie one that someone said works with minis -- but an SA might simply refuse to use it, so I thought I'd use an SS till.

I will be interested to know this too........any ideas peeps?

Do we know what the OLD HE bottles look like as opposed to the NEW ones please?
  • I think they have put the notice on the site to try and fool people into thinking the sale is finished so not so many people will go on there. As the 90% sale is due this week I would hope they will start the 75% one online again before wednesday. Just think if they have got the stock - which my basket says they have - they may just start the sale again.

Haven't found any reduced stuff yet :(
  • There were so many bottles in Beckton but I wasnt sure about the packaging - kicking myself now!
  • Just been to another Boots (St James Centre) and got 3 x P&P Glossy Locks Hair Spritz for the grand total of 66p (they were the last 3 if anyone's thinking of going btw - thought there were only 2 at first then found the third hiding). Lots of sun care/tanning, rainbow eye pallettes etc. The day and night sorbets were on the same shelf, but SEL said £8-something.

And I popped into North Bridge again on the way home and picked up another couple of the reduced HE. It looked like there were a couple more right at the back of the shelf but there were other people looking and it was a bit of a crush so I couldn't be bothered trying to get them (I know, I'm a hopeless Bootser lol).

I'm now trying to convince myself that going along to Princes Street would be a bad plan. I don't think it's working. Part of me is vainly hoping that they might have had another delivery and have the Urban Decay Book of Shadows in stock (btw, does anyone know of any other Boots in the Edinburgh area that stock Urban Decay? Princes St is the only one I know of.

    Hey all :hello:

Just been to boots and got my lancome foundation with a couple of lancome bits, spent £50 but got 2250 in points back, plus I only spent £20 as I had £30 on a GC..yay!!! And I got my foundation, lip stuff, and included a reduced lancome set with mascara in, make up remover and eye liner for £12!!! :D Usually the mascara is around £18ish on its own I think :)

Also had my small 'cheer myself up' order dispatched from .com, only some chocs and no7 brush set but I got the email this morning but no sign of the package yet :( Do HDN not deliver on saturdays?

Someone already answered. Yes, you can -- just scan it like a coupon after you hit finish and pay, then the coupon button.

Edit: Fyi, the question was regarding the use of extra-points coupons on self-scan tills.

Reading Booters: The Oracle Boots has a couple of old 17 gwps for £1 each. There are several in the displays above the 17 cosmetics, and they are the little metallic-colored clutch (I can't tell if it's gold or silver!) and the bronzing set (only a few of this one left). There is no price listed and no sign, but that's what they scan as (they don't scan as 0.00; I'm sure -- I did it myself on an SS till).
