Perhaps that is why some of the gift sets I bought in the sale had the vouchers missing and one even had the Protect and Perfect Serum missing from it!! It is ok to remove the voucher from something you are giving as a present if the voucher will be out of date but maybe giving people detailed instructions is not such a good idea.

And as I am being a bit controversial I admit I did buy a lot of gift sets in the sale..... However I did point out some of the good bargains like P & P and the Ruby and Millie to other shoppers.

I dont seem to get any response when I post my lists ( as I did a couple of days ago) and when I posted a comment about people buying loads of S & G gift sets last year I was shot down in flames....

To end let me say that I do sell some things on E-Bay ( which I am sure plenty of others do too!! ) but I am short of money and have to make ends meet.
Perhaps some of the gwp's were packed without the 250 points vouchers by accident, anyone who has no voucher could always
speak to someone instore/ or ring customer care and ask for a replacement. :)
I think the lovely SandraScarlet was only saying that it may be best to check your gwp has a voucher in it, to help people.:)

I am sure people sell items on ebay for various reasons known only to themselves and if you did well in the sale, then good for you.
People here were unhappy at the professional sellers clearing armfuls of stock and not allowing others to pick up a bargain,
not shooting down regular loyal shoppers, who made the most out of the sale!.

If you check back you will see that around 25 forum members did thank you for your last list,
(these can be a helpful reminder to others to maximise their shop)
so please don't feel that you have not been welcomed here and continue to be one of this band of happy bootsters.:)

  • Hmmmmmmph...Mr BTVB went to Boots this lunchtime and paid the ACM a visit...no P&P voucher for Mrs BTVB  :D  Guess my AC history will show that I've bought 3 or 4 P&P bits in the last four months or so, so Mr Boots reckons I don't need any help in that area :D Mr BTVB said our combined ACM offers in general were rubbish, that's probably a good thing, don't need any extra temptation to spend more money!

I've never bought any P&P and I didn't get the voucher either. Did get the 100pts on the peachy coloured body range which I DO buy loads of though .

It is ok to remove the voucher from something you are giving as a present if the voucher will be out of date but maybe giving people detailed instructions is not such a good idea. And as I am being a bit controversial I admit I did buy a lot of gift sets in the sale but I was online at 2.30 in the morning and outside the large Boots in Broadmead at 7.30a.m, was first in. Although I spent about £120.00 some of it was for my sister and her friend who use P & P and some for pressies. I also got some of the Bach sets ( one of which I have sent to another member on here). However I did point out some of the good bargains like P & P and the Ruby and Millie to other shoppers. I dont seem to get any response when I post my lists ( as I did a couple of days ago) and when I posted a comment about people buying loads of S & G gift sets last year I was shot down in flames. However I managed to get some in the January .com glitch and ended up buying the hand Food at £2.00 and getting the sets free.

Oh dear Rose, you sound like someone's upset you big time, and I seem to have missed that post as well. And missed the point.

I was only saying that it's obvious that "someone" must have removed the vouchers from the GWP, or perhaps they were genuinely missed out during production.

I hope you didn't think that I was advocating going in a branch and removing vouchers willy nilly:eek: ! I just feel it could be a tad embarrassing if you gave someone a gift and it had an out-of-date voucher inside.

What's happened about your sale purchase on dotcom then - it sounds like someone's had a go at you? Someone (see I just haven't got a memory any more!) posted a few days ago that we're not all entitled to every glitch and bargain, and they're absolutely right! Was someone having a go at you cos you got a bargain and they didn't?

I suppose if you were up for 8 consecutive nights and didn't get anything in the dotcom sale and then read that someone else got 148 white P & P bags, that you might feel a little hissed off - did someone have a go at you then?

And regarding ebay, I can't recall anybody criticising peeps selling on there, I think the problems arose (well, they certainly did for me), when peeps were witnesses to greedy folk putting dozens of things in their trolleys, and denying others just one. And then seeing an ebayer selling 147 items!

You say that you don't get any response from posting your lists, but I remember I replied to your recent one (or perhaps that was another Rose  ), and said how clear it all was. We're all hostages of human nature, and I must admit to being miffed yesterday when I pointed out a reduced item to my BF and she said "Wow!", picked it up and put it in her basket!

But then at the end of the day, my BF's worth more to me than reduced hand cream!

    xx
  • No P&P for me either:mad:

But I did get 100pts wyb No7 extreme length mascara and 100pts wyb No7 luxury bathing range.

I never seem to get the high value No7 points from ACM even though I get loads of other stuff. I am noticing however that it's always the same vouchers now even after changeover day - cheap marshmallow body lotion or something, umberto giannini, throat sweets and gaviscon!!

I don't think you have to send them back. I once received a parcel with broken Children cod liver oil ( imagin the smell and mess ) , CS just sent me a replacement.

I have only had this problem a couple of times, but each time have been asked to return items, even damaged/broken, covered in goo etc. It seems to depend on who you talk to in CS. I have just sent them back in the same bad condition that I received them.
