    2011 Birthday pressies bought = loads :)
2011 Christmas pressies bought = loads
  • Does anybody know please if the No 7 P & P GWP (XYZ!) works with a combination of P & P and non P & P stuff? For instance, if you bought the P & P hand cream, with a Glossy Locks, and then a Reduced Something No 7, and the total was over £18?

And if it did, and you still had a Blinkie, and used that, and the ACM £5 voucher as well, plus your 250 points from the previous GWP you had, would the till explode? Or would the SA say "Congratulations on a wonderful combination purchase Madam!" :T

    xx

    <snipped>

The GWP is on all/any No7, not just P&P :) And yes, all those vouchers should work together no problem, but I would advise you chose your SA wisely to avoid one of the "not to be used in conjuction with any other offer..... blah blah blah" brigade ;)
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

BTW (hangs head in shame), I've found the blend of "kl" in the word "Wrinklie" is difficult for my tongue and brain to remember, and am now saying "Rinkie or Winkie, or even Winkle!"

I just hope that I can remember to use the words "Discount Voucher" when facing a stern SA, and that I don't say "Now where did I put my Winkle"!

    xx

It does work. I posted my shop yesterday that included a mix of XYZ.
  • Oh almost forgot. I managed to find 2 of the Loreal for Men Anti-Fatigue Sets marked at £3.67 which went through the till at bogohp. Don't know who posted, but thank you anyway.

Also spotted lots of the premium hair products on sel clearance - managed to grab a few CW mini hairsprays for 41p.

Somebody mentioned yesterday that there wasn't a points voucher in their GWP, and yet the box didn't look as if it had been opened.

But it's quite easy to get the voucher out, without tearing the sleeve, and let's face it, if we're going to give these as cheer-up pressies, or part of a Christmas Hamper, they'll be long expired by then.

Just squeeze the bag, so that you can release the plastic from the, um, er knobs, and then slide the plastic sleeve away. Remove the voucher, and then replace. It's a bit fiddly, but worth it for £2.50!

If I received a GWP without a voucher, I'd return it and demonstrate with another GWP how easy it is to do, and ask if they'd kindly add the said points to my card please. They can only say no. HTH

    xx

Perhaps that is why some of the gift sets I bought in the sale had the vouchers missing and one even had the Protect and Perfect Serum missing from it!! It is ok to remove the voucher from something you are giving as a present if the voucher will be out of date but maybe giving people detailed instructions is not such a good idea. And as I am being a bit controversial I admit I did buy a lot of gift sets in the sale but I was online at 2.30 in the morning and outside the large Boots in Broadmead at 7.30a.m, was first in. Although I spent about £120.00 some of it was for my sister and her friend who use P & P and some for pressies. I also got some of the Bach sets ( one of which I have sent to another member on here). However I did point out some of the good bargains like P & P and the Ruby and Millie to other shoppers. I dont seem to get any response when I post my lists ( as I did a couple of days ago) and when I posted a comment about people buying loads of S & G gift sets last year I was shot down in flames. However I managed to get some in the January .com glitch and ended up buying the hand Food at £2.00 and getting the sets free.
To end let me say that I do sell some things on E-Bay ( which I am sure plenty of others do too!! ) but I am short of money and have to make ends meet. Be interesting to see how much Healthy Essences ends up on there!!
  • SS you crack me up:D. I have a slightly different dilema, i keep calling it a winkie  and just hope im not muttering it under my breath so people can hear me, might think im some sort of wierdo:o.

Okay folks, here's what won't work:

Olay handcream + wrinklie (gutted as it was reduced to under a fiver)
Model Me and ACM T&G voucher (beeped)

But I did get Model Me shampoo and conditioner (reduced to £1.22 each) for 44p after wrinklie, and an olay GWP. PLus the only bottle of reduced HE I've ever seen lol, 73p and 100pts (this offer is on until 24/2/09)

I got Model Me shampoo and conditioner in 2 different shops - shampoo was clearance, till wouldn't accept ACM voucher and SA wasn't willing to put it in manually because it was already reduced. Conditioner wasn't on clearance (so cost me £2.88 with wrinklie), again till beeped, but SA got points put on manually for me.
