Popped into town this afternoon…. put some pennies in the bank, went to the Co-op for some milk, cheese scones and a few other bits and pieces then off to the coffee shop for a nice cup of coffee – £1.40 – good grief.
Wandered about aimlessly for while…as you do….in a sort of torpor, vacant stare and frost bite… but noticed a Really Posh Lady with a most unusual dog…. not sure if it’s a proper dog as such…. a sort of longhaired greyhound, quite tall, very shiny golden brown coat and very, very long and luxuriant tail - a big red squirrel on stilts springs to mind – oh hum….The £2 Coin Savers Club = £346.00 (£300.00 transferred to Savings a/c)

Sorry to hear your news skintchick - that sucks!
Have to say it kind of happened to me once and it was the best thing ever (despite the debt I got myself in but that was mainly as a result of stupid shopping to make myself feel better).
Spent nothing today but need petrol so might bung a fiver in to last me until next week.
V.proud of myself though - was feeling down and was going to go and buy a load of nice face products to cheer myself up and make myself beautiful as am feeling ugly but then stopped and thought of how I would feel if I spent £100 (which I would!) and instead decided to get more sleep, use the products I already have and drink more water!!!I want to be a writer0 -
Skintchick - As everyone else has said, sorry to here this. Keep you chin up, it'll work out.
Today, I managed to spend a budgeted £30.00 on diesel and that's all. Plus, I sold a bet early (part of a website offer that got me a free shirt and cashback last year) so expecting about £37.00 from that. Also, got a £20 free bet offer from the same company, so that'll be some more with luck (through matched betting of course, only safe way to play).
Listed a bunch of eBay auctions yesterday, one has 5 bids already! A couple of watchers on the others, so fingers crossed. My Quidco cashback process is due in the next couple of days that's over £150.00, and hopefully I'll get £9.00 from Quickwise too for some surveys.
Other than all this, hope to keep the spends right down for the next week or so!Personal ISA Contributions Challenge - current £0 (as at 1 April 2014) / target £15,000 (deadline 31 Mar 2015)0 -
