They always say have a good moan then you'll soon win! (well me mam says that!) Like the others said, enter the little comps too and not just the biggies. Regularly check radio sites and local newspaper sites for comps as they regularly update. Some wins just turn up without wtc or wem's. I hope you start to win soon, good luck!

ive been doing comps for a good while now about a year have only ever won dry shampoo and sun glasses i really enjoy doing them though

Nope i have never won anything. lol

Have been doing competitions for 2 years now. I admit i have given up and dont enter as many anymore, most i ashume are scams to collect information so was shocked to see what people on here have won!

I started comping in Aug 08 and didn't win anything decent until Dec where i got some nice wins. As what most other people have said, i was about to think all the time and effort wasn't worth it and then the wins started to roll in.

Reading the won section of this forum is always good as it gives you hope that one day it might be you and its always great to hear what other people have won.

I'm the same as you, I've been comping for about 5 months and I won three concert tickets after the first couple of weeks and have won nothing since - I'm so unlucky I think if I was a buffalo that I really would run into Bill.

I enter loads too, but I used to count how many I entered but don't now, I try to enter as many as I can, forget about it, and hopefully anything I win will be a bonus.

As others have said on here, the only competition we don't have a chance of winning is the one we don't enter, so I just try and keep positive!

I'm not greedy at all but I just want a cash win this year or a big win I can sell - I really want some money to move house this year - that's my only dream!

I enter competitions once a blue moon, when I remember lol. I did win a sample size box of Johnson products, made a great xmas gift!

But for me, 2009 is going to be the year I start giving it a go - the prizes are there to be won after all! Think I'll challenge myself to win this years xmas pressies for the family, think how much cash it'll save!

I enter about the same amount of comps as you and only have got one big win a year. Last year I didn't get a big win till October and only won smallish things before that. In 2007 the comp i won i entered in May but didn't hear I won it till August. I mostly only enter for big comps holidays, money etc so the odds of winning are less but i know the prize will be wanted.

Keep going with it.. obviously you can increase your odds by entering loads but there is a bit of luck and patience with it. You'll win something good eventually.

Hi, you just have to look at it as a bit of fun. I started in August and got 3 cash wins within 6 weeks - £250, £1000 and £200 and not surprisingly, got completely hooked. While I have had some reasonable prizes since then, I've come nowhere near beating that again!
I find personally that I go through periods of checking my emails every hour and checking the mail anxiously - after several weeks of it I give up and then I tend to get pleasently surprised by a win - but's that's just me!
Anyway, don't give up - you never know when your luck is going to catch up with you!

Glad to see I am not the only one who has not won anything.

Hubby also enters and last year won a holiday to China, graphics card and monitor, so I am always been reminded how unlucky I am.

2009 will be my year, and I will get my first win.
