I would say that if you want to keep your spirits up by winning something, then don't just enter the competitions with big prizes, more people enter those ones. Make sure you also enter some with just smaller prizes such as a book or a cuddly toy, as less people enter these and therefore you are more likely to win and even a small win can keep your spirits up.
  • Another tip is to make sure you enter comps in your local paper, etc. Less entries means more chance of winning. Do you have time to enter more than 30 a day? I try to enter at least 50 a day - if I've got more time on my hands, I'll enter over 100 a day. Keep going:D
Many lovely wins over the years - thanks to all that post:A

    Oh another little tip

I have a small notebook which I keep a list of my wins in. Sad, I know, but it brightens my day when I can look in my little 'purple' book and see what I have won. It spurs me on to enter more =) I am now on page 132 working back over as I have been very lazy these last few weeks. Have been very poorly this week so have been catching up while resting on the sofa whilst off work :)

Maybe having a little diary when you start winning will help keep your spirits up x

:D You will win. Just enter as many comps. as you can. I'm always on computer, every spare moment. I've been comping approx. a year. I'm still waiting for what I call a 'biggie' but I've won lot's of nice things along the way. Don't lose heart. Keep going.:D

You can go through long dry patches and then win loads at once. I had 3 big wins and plenty small ones leading up to xmas, but not a thing since. They will come, someone has to win and why can't it be you.
Best wins: Colorado holiday, psp, 2x flip video camera, Alton Towers weekend, VIP Moscow party trip вечеринка
  • It took me 6 months before I won my first prize- a tray of chewing gum :-)

It has taken me 6mths to win a decent prize. I have had little bits along the way ie lip gloss or little rubber duck.

You gotta be in it to win it. Keep going you will get there!
