I wouldnt risk just putting a ticket on the dash without sticking it. Hubby laid his on the dash - and it curled in the heat (very very hot summer few years back ) and he got done because the ticket wasnt displayed correctly - ie the warden couldnt read the times

No one mentioned putting it on the dash, but i and now some others mentioned sticking it to windscreen where it meets the dash, if it falls of it will then sit face up on the dash..hopefully

Oh Dear!:rotfl:
• My OH got a ticket because his permit from the Local Council was placed on the dashboard incorrectly, he wrote and tried to appeal but was unsuccessful.

Ie, on the dashboard, rather than in the lower left hand corner of the screen?

Pedantism is very wide spread. (apologies before someone tells me that that word doesn't exist, and if they do B!!!!!!S)
I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed

Thanks, I may try writing to my mp.
Good idea! He may come round with some BluTack for you (or RedTack or Yellow Tack, depending on his allegiance).

Hi HelpMeMove,

Could you take a look at >THIS THREAD< and upload your PCN to the forum accordingly for someone to take a look at? There may be procedural improprieties which may help with an appeal. Writing to your MP shouldn't be a priority at this stage.

I've moved this over to the Parking Tickets Board for a better response :)

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: I’ve asked Board Guides to move threads if they’ll receive a better response elsewhere(please see this rule) so this post/thread has been moved to another board, where it should get more replies. If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
