like i said i think for people that are capable of work who also get esa and dla then theese interviews are a good thing. for people like me who are unable to work and let me just clear that up i am unable to work full stop. i think we shouldent be forced into anything like this before the medicle exam at least!

Could you manage an hour or two a week, providing it is flexible and near home? Perhaps being prepared with an idea what you can do (no matter how little) will make it easier for the next interview?

Yeah, you dont think you are able for work, if the JCP and Health Professionals disagree then its part of the requirement if your in the Work Focused Group.

what? are you saying evern tho i dont think i am capable of work i should have said that i was capable of work?

I think they are saying it is difficult for the advisor when you close every avenue without even exploring it?

    Please don't be defensive.

If you look at it from her point of view, you came across as someone who was not prepared to even discuss any options?

That may have been the reason for her trying to make a point?

I'm pointing out what may have happened, not criticising you so please don't take it the wrong way.

yes i did whats your point? i already know there is no jobs that i could do, you dont think i havent already thought that through? it seems somepeople have a hard time facing the fact there is actualy some people who cannot work any job at all due to a disability. why should i have to prove my self unfit to work to theese people who are not doctors. i will happly attend any medicle exam and let that do the talking.

my whole point was to get the job centre to provide you a job that fits in with your abilities,if they cannot provide/find one thats down to them
not for you to say what jobs you can do
honestly if you struggle with a few words on a form post then god help you in the world

i dont feel this as a critism at all infact i think you summed it up real well i understand they have to ask you what you can do etc and to say flat out i cant do anything the end is a bit silly but the thing is i did explaine to her in much detail how it effects me she did look at jobs and gave me ideas to which i told her i couldent do it. my only grumble is how long dose this go on how manny questions do they have to ask to realise infact i cant work im in constant pain 24/7 i dont think anyone that is in constant pain and im talking real pain here should be forced to work its just not fair.

Because those people decide if you get money or not.

  • So the original poster isn't able to work, but she's able to sit in front of a computer making all these posts?

I'd say you were fit for work, personally.
