We are right next to Alton Towers but the weather is just awful now (and I think it is closed) that's the annoying thing about this time of year!! My next child will be a summer baby :rotfl:0 -
if you have a amf bowling alley local to you i would suggest registering on their website! you get a bowling vouchor that is valid for up to 6 people and you all bowl and get shoe hire free for one game.
get a friend to register to and you can take up to 12 of you! we do this every weekend because the six people we go with all register and we register the children too he he!
hope this helps. x0 -

i ordered coloured paper bags from ebay for my daughter i made name tags with card on the computer and attatched them with ribbon you could decorate them with butterflies. i made place cards in ths same way we had a pink theme but you might be able to get butterfly sprinkles im not sure about £1 i think on ebay to use to decorate bags and tables looks expensive but not;) you can get butterfly napkins it all depends on your budget now dd dad is helping out and of course how creative you are i have loads more ideas if you want any help pm me sam0 -
Just a couple of ideas for you Tink, will you have access to a kitchen in the hall you're hiring? If so when we had my daughters party we did hot dogs in rolls with a blob of sauce for those who liked it, worked out quite cheap rolls were on offer at Mr T's at the time.
Also do you have a catering college near you? (I'm lucky that I work in one) but it's a good place to look for a great birthday cake! In my experience the students always want the experience, the evidence for their course work and most of all it would be cheaper than a shop (especially if you give them the ingredients!) they as you know students always need money!!0 -
For music, it may be an idea to look at local bands

May cost you a couple of quid or they may do it for free depending on who you ask - and it'll certainly be original, though TBH it may be better suited for an older birthday - just a suggestion though. If my typing is pants or I seem partcuarly blunt, please excuse me, it physically hurts to type. :wall: If I seem a bit random and don't make a lot of sense, it may have something to do with the voice recognition software that I'm using!0
