  • It says in their terms and conditions that 2 can stay in the room free and (how I read it) if you have breakfast, the children's are free....
Would be interested in how you book for a family of 2 adults and 2 children to still come out at £10 though.....

Is it room only? Can you pay the extra for breakfast and dinner? Can't seem to put that into the booking requirements.
Stopped smoking 27/12/2007, but could start again at any time

I've been looking for somewhere near chester - st davids or daresbury park. when I book 2 adults and 2 children, I have to book a room for £50. where if I book a room for 1 adult and 1 child or two adults and 1 child it's £10 and says and extra bed can be put in the room for the chld.

does anyone know if the room for 2 adults and 1 child would do for 2 children ie is a sofabed??

seems a little unfair to be charged £50.

    thanks;)

We did this, but at Warbrook house. We just called the hotel directly (number on 'contact us') and asked what to do. We were advised to book as normal, using the £10 rate, and then email them to let them know we'll need a room big enough for a cot and a z-bed. We won't have to pay any extra. I'm not sure how it works at St David's, but it may be worth ringing too. Hope it works out for you.

You just pay for these when you there. It's £7.50 for breakfast per adult (children are free) and I guess dinner will just be from the menu as normal. I did notice though that some of the restaurants are closed on Fri and Sat, so watch out for that.

yes thats how I read it, to cut and paste from t&c:

The rate featured for this promotion is £10 per room per night, based a single, twin or double standard room. This offer does not include breakfast. These rates are inclusive of VAT, charged at 15%. If breakfast is taken a charge of £7.50 per person will be charged. All bookings must be made by (the end of) 29th January 09 or when all 10,000 rooms have been sold. Valid for stays until and including 30th April 2009, excluding 14th February and Valentines period. This offer is only available at weekends only apart from selective dates between 23rd – 27th February and 9th – 20th April. When sharing an adults room a maximum of 2 children per booking can stay FREE

so to me that reads that 2 kids can stay free in a standard double room? so I'll book a standard room for two adults at £10 and give them a ring and say that the kids will be staying too???
    ;)

lol i think i messed up. Romantic weekend for 2 managed to turn into a family outing for 6. Booked greenwich for april school holidays :D children will love it and it makes a fantastic bribe lol. 2 rooms so romantic night won't really work with him in 1 & me in the other lol but oh well.
£20 well spent i think. Children have never stayed ina hotel & i didn't expect to be able to afford to take them to one either. Can't wait :D
