I'm using FF and I can see the yellow quote box and don't have the brown splodge that you and others have.

the re-design is terrible, sorry, but there should atleast be the option to change back to the default, colour scheme hurts my eyes!

It is certainly way too bright, especially when you have to go back and forth from darker sites, it's like being hit in the eyes with a solar flare!!!

For the love of God change it back!!!

Its hurting my eyes as well, and I have the brightness turned right down on the screen. Can you turn down the whiteness?
