I was like others, thought that it hadn't loaded properly and was frantically pressing F5.
Then I thought to see if anyone else had noticed and found this thread.
It is a wee bit glaring which is not too much of a problem if you are only spending a few minutes looking but spend much more than that and the eyes start to hurt and water and the head starts a banging.
I think it looks a little washed out, like it has been through the wash too many times although muter colours is supposed to be better for a calming atmosphere.
I do like the different colour quote box though! We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I think by removing the lines it looks more clutered, not less.
I think if we want a more simple, clean and uncluttered look, removing colours from signatures and tidying up the resource bar would be better.
I think something like the Digital Spy forum would be better, easy to read, basic, clear and clean.Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0 -

i think the colour idea works well on the forum main pages BUT it looks poorly defined IMHO with such faint lines between things. If you're putting lines in to stop things blurring then you might as well do it properly.
I think the quote colour function is fab but i'm really not fussed on the new scheme on the thread pages at all. if you're going to change the colour of the user info box why cant it be green instead of yellow? keep the white bar underneath with the thanks and quote/edit buttons in to break it up (although again i would rather see proper lines)know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Does anyone have a screenshot of how things used to be? I want to offer a bit more constructive critism, but can't do that without a reference!Stay-at-home, attached Mummy to a 23lb 10oz, 11 month old baby boy.0

You may want to take a screen grab of the forum now to spot the differences.

the more I'm looking, the more I'm feeling like I need sunglasses! It's very glaringly bright, maybe this is a way of getting us out there saving money rather than sitting here talking about it!
