  • Gonna go fo this tomorrow for the first time ever :D

I already have £1 rail tickets with Virgin bought so this'd be a mega cheap night in the ol' Capital.

It's just 12pm, 12pm can't be in the midnight and noon, it is just noon. 12am is midnight.
12pm is ambiguous. I refer to 12pm as noon as well, but official authorities have never designated 12pm as noon.

    See http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/12-hour_clock#Confusion_at_noon_and_midnight for more information.

Yes, 12pm is midnight, except when Hoxton are having a sale, in which case 12pm refers to noon.
  • I cannot book this anyway as you need to have a Visa or Mastercard, and I only have a Maestro. :(

So which is the correct link to use? Is it http://www.thehoxton.com/offers-1pound.php and can you register your credit card beforehand? I've looked and can't see how to as obviously it all takes up time. Not tried this before but daughter is off to London next week so would be a nice treat for her if I was to strike lucky!

It is debateable which link is best. On three occasions I found the html link best- much quicker and kept going while the site crashed. Last time, it didn't work- but they recognised that and will presumably try to fix it. If I were not at work:cry: tomorrow, I would probably get both up and try the html first.
Good luck to all- its a great place to stay.
Don't give up- often the site can't cope for 20 minutes or so, until lots of people give up- then it perks up again.

Go to the virgin trains website and go into special offers , I think all the £1 fares have gone but there were some £3 fares left. It was just Manchester to london journeys and you had to have a wap enabled phone to get them
  • Meet you all at the Hotel or maybe we'll meet on the Train!
