Ring them, give in your notice. They will bill you the early termination fee, and your contract will end 30 days after you give in the notice.0

the remaining line rental so if you have 3 months left and your on a 20 pounds a month contract your looking at £60 if you have 10 months left on a 30 pounds contract its 300 pounds how many months you got left and how much you pay a monthReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. If your reply cannot be nice, has an underlying issue, or you believe that you are God, please post in another forum. Thank you0 -

Hello, Londonguy, I have the same problem in Dec 07 I stupidly committed to a 2 year contract via the carphone warehouse just so I could save £5 a month on line rental. Unfortunately I now want an iPhone, You would think that me offering to sign another 2 year contract at £15 a month more and paying £100 towards a new handset would make good business sense, but they refused saying I had to buy out my current contract first. Anyone have any ideas if this can be done??0

My hubby has been with O2 for years on a contract. We went on the internet to find a better deal and when we did we got in thouvh with O2 and he said that he was looking at cancelling the contract. O2 offered him a monthly contract for 15.00 and now he gets free minutes call time and free texts every month cannot remember how many but it suited him fine. Why don't you have a look into it and speak to them. Everyone is after business at the mo.0

If he had his contract for "years", then he was given a retention deal of some sort to keep him.
This thread concerns customers still in the (binding) minimum period of their contracts. The boot is on the other foot, as they cannot just leave!0
