oops yes, sorry.
my sympathies of course go out to anyone who has lost money, I wasn't trying to make light of what i know from my own experience can be a very frustrating time if you've been ripped off.
no doubt if I was one of those trying to get money back I would probably not find it so entertaining, it's just that I've been following this for a while and it is just a little bit funny, esp the website :rotfl:0 -
When you refer to your Ferrari do you mean this one? http://www.littlehavens.org.uk/default.asp?id=936&ver=10

.........For the rest of you, you're so dumb for believing all the blatant lies in these forums. .....
[Name removed by Forum Team]
So you on that basis you haven't stated
The trading name GC's PC's is part of GLC Group Ltd registered in England 6541505. The matter of names may not be discussed and anyone who challenges so, shall be banned from use of our services.
Which is a misleading statement, taking into account that no such company as GLC Group Ltd exists. According to companies house the company registered No 6541505 is:-
Name & Registered Office:
GC'S PC'S LIMITED
350 LONDON ROAD
WESTCLIFF ON SEA
ESSEX
SS0 7JL
Company No. 06541505
Accounting Reference Date: 31/03
Next Return Due: 17/04/2009 OVERDUE
I therefore assume that this company has nothing to do with you and therefore your not worried that your accounts are overdue risking a big fine!0 -
Nice to see young [Name removed by Forum Team] taking an interest in this thread. His post earlier seemed to be a bit of a case of throwing his toys out of his pram.As he's not replied, wonder if he's been sent to bed without any supper....0

Sorry to be so boringly pedantic but, the real issues here still remain...3 months down the line from the initial post.
Talk of trading standards, the police and HMRC appear to be just that. There's no feedback whatsoever on any resolution regarding anyone who has fell victIm to this website.
Should the powers that be above really be involved in this, then some questions need to be answered, trading standards *should* have at least acted by now in suspending trading at least, the police have better things to do fair enough, but HMRC have powers the police et all could only dream of.
So....what's happening (or not)....and why? The website obviously has no means of taking payment by way of a merchant, true by the fact that the only way is by giving card details over the phone which would still require a merchant account to process! The only other explanations are that either they are just recording details for the purpose of fraud, or passing details to a third party to process....either way, very wrong.
Either someone is taking the pi$$ or this country is in a bigger mess than I had previously imagined....if that's possible.0 -
I see it all now. It's a cunning conspiracy by the Nigerians to besmirch the good name of master [Name removed by Forum Team] . First they stole all the money out of is bank account. Then they cloned his company and set up this bogus company in Basingstoke. Because of this, Garry had to move his operations from Southend and set up his own business in the same building as the Nigerian one. Lastly (and this is very clever) the Nigerians sent in a special agent disguised as a Trading Standards official to give him duff advice about his Terms and Conditions.
See we all got it wrong, Garry is a model businessman. Trading Standards, the police, Computer Active and the good folk on MSE and Digital Spy have all been misled by those dastardly Nigerians. It's those we should blame, not the saintly Master [Name removed by Forum Team] who devotes all his free time to good causes and worthy charities. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0 -
I wouldn't worry too much about the lack of action on the part of Trading Standard and the Police, HMRC are the only people who could really hurt the [Name removed by Forum Team] s: you can email them at [EMAIL="customs.confidential@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk"]customs.confidential@hmrc.gsi.gov.uk[/EMAIL] and write that Dumbo isn't charging VAT despite turning over £30,000 a month. Attach all the newspaper articles in which he brags about his champagne lifestyle.
I also believe that the newspaper coverage and the subsequent outrage unleashed in forums such as DigitalSpy and this forum have clearly curtailed his fraudulent activities, perhaps even killed it; when I initially spoke with Protx, the card merchants Dumbo was using at the time, they had already been inundated with calls following the Daily Mirror article and promptly pulled the plug; the same is true of PayPal (twice), Google Checkout (twice) and Barclays.
What Dumbo writes about Barclays stopping him from doing refunds is a total lie: I spoke to Barclays some months ago, and the reason he was unable to do refunds, was because his account with them was already hugely overdrawn to the huge number of chargebacks, to the effect that Dumbo had no money to do refunds; the best thing for any customer to do, as I did, is, when you are dealing with a thief such as [Name removed by Forum Team] , DO NOT wait for a refund, but simply ask your card providers to initiate chargeback proceedings.
For any future customer reading this entry, just print off the 28 (currently) pages of this thread and post it to your card merchants together with your statement of claim.
As for the Ferrari, I am afraid the only one he'll ever be driving, is the Matchbox one I found at http://www.artpromos.com/detail.asp?id=627; it costs £1, but Matchbox may charge extra for a fraud check, and remember, first class postage takes longer than second class postage.
Oh yes, by the by, his mother isn't dead at all and I presume he wrote this so that we all get off his back; the thief's mother left the [Name removed by Forum Team] household many years ago (presumably horrified by the offsping she spawned) and settled in Newcastle; she is very much alive and kicking.0 -
James thats very interesting that she lives in Newcastle, her name is not Serena by any chance is it? If so she was the proud winner of [Name removed by Forum Team] competition0
