I have had a bit of a problem with my CPW cashback.
(NB. I the V3 Orange YP200 offer that was going on in July 2005).
I got my first bill on the 22nd July, and the cashback booklet says I have to send my 4th airtime bill for the first chequeback. Ok I thought that means:
1) 22nd July bill
2) 22nd August bill
3) 22nd Sept bill
4) 22nd Oct bill <-- 4th bill so I sent this one in.
I phoned to confirm they got my claim, and they told me to wait 60 days (until after new year). That passed and I still hadn't received the cheque, so I phone up and ask where my cheque is. They say that the first bill is only a connection bill, so I actually had to send my 22nd November bill!?! Is that correct?
I also have to send my 8th and 12th bills to get the remaining chequebacks.
I'm now totally confused by this. Doesn't this mean my 12 month airtime bill will actually be the 13th month of my contract?0 -
As you pay for airtime IN ADVANCE, then when I followed their cashback procedure for a phone I received in January, I sent the 6th bill (June) and the 12th bill (December). All went through okay. If in doubt, phone them and get them to confirm which bill they need. CPW seemed to be straightforward to me and the texts were reassuring, but I still called anyway as I take an X-files approach to cashback - Trust Noone ! The direct line to redemptions was, if I recall a Northern Ireland number - 028 - does anyone else have it to hand?

I ordered a phone through e2save rather than cpw, on their online cs you type in the order number and it says 'send the bills received in month x, mionth y and month z' - can't get much clearer than that...I think....0
