Toyota Supra experiences

If you ever go looking for one - good thing to look out for, Toyota are very (or were....) precise in their lines. If you look at one and it is not in line, ie windows with doors etc., it is likely its had a smack or something is not right. Check underneath thoroughly re rust. If its an import, then generally, it will have less rust than a UK spec one.goldspanners wrote: »this was on our short list of projects aswell, just couldnt get the prices right for our budget. i would have been happy with a mk2 mr2.
Re OP - love the Supra's, we get some lovely ones in - better if they haven't been mucked about with too much. You wouldn't believe what some people do to them and completely ruin the car, same with MR2's and Celica's & GT4's, so much better if they are kept to their original spec - or if they are 'improved' ... hopefully done properly and tastefully!
Too many get 'souped' up and hence then blown up........... sad

Wow, thought this thread had died! Had a look at both the supras, fantastic cars. One was a bit to personalised to previous owner for my liking and would need a fair bit spent to restore. However, slight change of plan as I'm now wanting one with the aerotop roof (saw a gorgeous one, just over budget though!). Wifes fault, she has an mr2
