A car is just a load of metal. It can't have soul.Hmmm
Buying a Jap sports car is that not a bit like buying a diesel soft-top?
Why bother?
Get something with some soul.
Why bother? Er, because you can have a seriously fast car for not a huge amount of money and reliability.Happy chappy0 -

I have had this argument for 30 years normally against German sports cars.
And ne'r the twain shall meet.
Italian or British (not many of them left...lol).

Nah, I don't miss the point. I just don't think the point is that good. There are a lot of crap cars around that have "soul". Best of luck fixing the things rather than driving them.Another heathen who misses the point.

Love the MR2.. nothing around really to replace it. The new roadster is cr*p and just not good enough.thescouselander wrote: »Not at all, I used to have a Mk II MR2, its probably still my favourite out of all the cars I've owned. I'm sorry I had to sell it.
We still get loads of the 'oldies' coming in. Even Mk1's.. - we even have one that has under 50k on the clock - genuine. But I prefer the Mk2, more rounded in shape. Seem to get more imports in than Uk spec as the turbo version is more popular.Genie
