NatWest Wat A Crock

I recently opened a Natwest Step Account and can not praise it enough. :j

Was previously with Lloyds TSB until they decided to reduce my overdraft by £600 in one go, thus put myself in serious debt trouble as I was unable to pay my credit cards and loan!!

In my experience, I found that online payments/transfers with Lloyds to be slow, taking at least the 3 days stated if not more.

With Natwest, I find in general that most online payments/transfers are made on the day I have done them (as long as it not from late afternoon onwards).
I made a payment with my debit card on the 16th Jan 09. Now it is only showing on my bank statment online 19th Jan 09.

Doesn't your available balance get reduced by the appropriate amount when you make a transaction using your card. I know for certain this has happened with my Natwest account. Last saturday, I made an payment online with my debit card and within minutes it was showed on my account as a pending transactions (I was actually in online banking at the time) and the amount was reduced from my available balance.

I didn't know Inactive had posted a picture.

I was imagining a David Hasselhoff type figure myself, perhaps with a Tom Selleck-esque 'tache.

:rotfl: I can see it now. Inactive running down the beach with big boobed women in very little shouting "Down with HSBC, down with HSBC". The hoffinator at his best.
