I'll 24th DVDShrink.. not used it for 3-4 years or so but it was ACE!
Before everyone keeps recommending Dual Layer discs, it might be an idea to confirm if they have a DL burner :money:0 -
If the home movie was an avi I'd re-encode to mpeg with Tmpegenc and manually select the encoding options. This would give me more control than shrink, but for a quick solution I'd 25th shrink.0
