Squizz - what an a$$hole :( Is it possible to post on the website you both use and say 'my ex is a !!!!!! and may post some rubbish about me'?

I was booked to have a tooth out a while back - it grew in a gap too small and so grew 'behind' the adjoining ones.......I still need it out I guess......the snow was too thick to get to my appointment that day and the buses were cancelled..........Jan 1987..........:o

Having a sneaky peek whilst I am at work
I hate the dentist too and last time I went a year or so ago they said I needed a filling...haven't been back since

    SO many people do this.
The problem doesn't go away though.
It's far better to have the tooth treated while it can be rather than waiting until the decay reaches the nerve/ tooth breaks or you wind up with a swollen face and an abscess.
Once it's left to that stage there are not many choices other than to remove the tooth.

It's easy to give in to that negative voice that chants "cant do it" BUT we lift each other up.
We dont count all the runners ahead of us & feel intimidated.
Instead we look back proudly at our journey, our personal struggle & determination & remember that there are those that never even attempt to reach the starting line.

Ok Linda/Maz I know its not a bad thing but I am terrified after an awful experience having wisdom teeth out.
Will pluck up the courage to book it.....next week maybe
I'll make a wish, take a chance, make a change And breakaway. I'll take a risk, take a chance, make a change and breakaway ....

Go for it sally, you can do it. You'll feel so much better for getting it sorted rather than waiting for a painful problem.
    Go Sally, Go Sally!

When you go back, explain to the dentist that because of the wisdom tooth experience that's why you haven't had the necessary work done.
    They'll understand!

I've got a similar dentist problem, I think a filling fell out last summer but I hate using the phone so I haven't been able to phone round to get a dentist. I just keep taking pain killers when it hurts, I really need to get it sorted though.

Redsquirrel, what a !!!!!!, everyone else has said what I want to anyway.

BB, I've just had one of the chocolate cherry yoghurts, you're right they're delicious! Not sure I'll like the other flavours in the pack as much though.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

Ames, just make one call to the PALS team at Leeds PCT to be put on their list for an NHS dentist!

"We are working hard to ensure we replace any services that were lost and have set up a Leeds Dental Advice Line to help people find a new NHS dentist and give advice about urgent treatment services. To contact the advice line call 0800 298 5787. It is open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Thursday and 9am and 4.30pm on Fridays.
If you are a patient or carer in the Leeds Primary Care Trust area and you want to add your own contact details, or the details of the person you care for, to a database of those looking for a new dentist, you can contact the advice line on 0800 298 5787, e-mail pals@nhsleeds.nhs.uk or complete the online registration form.
Please leave the following information if you are looking for a new dentist:
    Name
    Date of Birth
    Address and telephone number
    Name of previous dentist
Date next dental appointment is due"

    From Leeds PCT website
