don't suppose the bolts for my new lodgers wardrobe (thus far missing) are in your attic too??

have to say that normally i actually blame lodgers (quietly and without them noticing) for anything that is out of place!!!!

mind you - either it is something like the subconscious secret ice cave or it could be the elves who are helping me to hang on to important things BEFORE the lodgers actually get hold of them!!!!

glad to report that the counting of coppers has ended and we have £20 for a treat tomorrow!!!!

on to my secret sealed pot now for more counting to see if we can go to cinema tomorrow (justified in opening as we had 4 tin openers to test before binning them!!)

    loki xx
it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:
  • silly question Princess Loki - is the secret sealed pot in the subconcious secret ice cave??

no... not silly at all!!! it is sort of in the secret ice cave - otherwise known as MY SHED! nobody else is allowed in there :D . it is MY SHED and has very important stuff in there - all my useful stuff but stored in a random way that only i will understand! everybody knows to not EVER go in there because the may break some of my precious stuff (like the lawnmower or my magical collection of plastic pots that need a scrub!). also lodger is terrified of spiders so that helps!!
it's nice to be important but more important to be nice!! :kisses3:

    Hey everyone.

    1)Today was a LSD.
2)I spent about 2.50 including renting a DVD and a fee for reserving a library book. It is India Knight's Thrift Book that I ordered instead of buying it with my Xmas vouchers. I suspect it will be a fun read but not particularly practical!
    3) Scratchcard x 10p
    4) 1 x online survey
    5) Packed lunch at work
    6) Used up lasagne sheets for dinner that have been in my cupboard since the year dot. It was not a success.:o
7)Received my new CC so did balance transfer. Phew.
    8) Sold an item on Ebay for 10p + postage! Made the lady very happy!
    9) Sparkled in my scarf.

    See you tomorrow!

Yes, i remember my very first post on this thread, was rather a long time ago now!!

Am sure you have been the inspiration for many people with this thread SM, i know i have achieved even more as a result of posting on this thread, so thank you. I have also noticed how my posts have got longer and longer too, so can blame you lot for being a work aholic and addicted to productivity:D

I find it interesting how the thread has developed over time and the people that have come and gone and feel that there are a nice group of regular posters now, although would love to hear from the likes of Klane and cleosmum again.

Cassey, hope you feel better soon, poor you.
