Can't claim to have been the original starter of the thread, it used to run sporadically during 07 posted by Hypno amongst others, and a "what have you spent today thread" used to run along side it posted by Moozie, I loved posting on both and reading to keep me on traack.
Gradually the thread disappeared so I ressurrected it about a year ago and between us - myself , andan,:A and couple of others:A we haven't missed a day since. Andan has taken over when I have been on holiday etc and now I can't start the day without posting it first :D

I love the motivation of the thread even though ai am now debt free it keeps me focused on staying that way:T :T and I get to chat with lovely people and pick up lots of great tips.:j :j
Sophiesmum,i am so glad you start the thread every day. Like you i am debt free, but love posting as it makes me think what i am spending my money on and my money does go further since i have been posting, because i think before i spend and also i pick up some good money saving ideas from posters.
So thank you for starting the tread everyday.

hi everyone, first post on here! I'm not really in debt, other than racking up the student loan atm, but I still like to do little things each day to help make sure I don't run into financial difficulty.

    today I have/will:
    • use up old shampoo/shower gel etc.
    • use up some old candles that have been lying around for years. Smell nice and it's good to get a bit of extra free light.
    • emailed my previous uni about last year's alleged "overpaid" bursary (they said I didn't attend the whole year, but I did )
    • do any surveys
    • do daily clicks
    • do comps
    • check bank to see when things need to be paid, and write in diary when I need to transfer money
    • today's horse won on racecaller
    • got the fluffy pink and black stripy socks on :j
    • recovering from yesterday's trip to the dentist
    • had a chicken sandwich for lunch using leftovers from the Sunday roast
  • hello!

i am a bit late on here today :o

    have been quite busy!
    - made loaf in bm
    - went to post office to post uniform that company forgot to collect (worth postage as had £30 taken out of wages for just a cheap shirt!)
    - had reduced price pate for lunch
    - dinner will be leftovers from sunday roast
    - put some hooks up in bathroom
    - oh is counting out the coppers collection
    - been up in attic (put two spare kettles etc up there)
    - been up in attic again as the carrots disappeared - lucky i realised because they were in one of the boxes :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
    - delivered avon books yesterday and later today plan on sorting out all the old books
    - changed two blown lightbulbs for energy saving ones
    - sorted AA cover out through quidco
    - found passport!!! (in a box in the bathroom?!?!?:o )
    - sprayed oven with oven cleaner  ... this means that now i HAVE to clean it!!!!!!
    - over past couple of days we have been munching on cheese and biccies in the evening - this is too expensive and fattening so before tv tonight i will do some carrot sticks and things :D
    - found the missing teabags in a tin on top of cupboard :o

hope everyone is having a good week so far and hugs to anyone feeling down or ill xxx
