Had a answer phone message left today from Cf&L Finance

Message as follows

Alex Scott? from CF&L message for me(name) notice of legal action, call back this No.08453096182 and quote a reference(ref No.)
thank you Bye?

I was first called back in December 2010 by someone making out to represent the local police magazine,
Did not receive any proof copy they phoned me and sent out a photo copy of my ad that they had obviously put together from my ad in yellow pages.

Have received a letter from CF&L demanding settlement cant remember how much binned it, was in Jan/Feb 20011

If you look on CF&L website they are boasting about people they have recently won CCJ against one being a company called
Chorleywood Flooring Ltd of Watford

I found a mobile No. on the internet for this company phoned it, he is no longer trading under that name and was very surprised when I told him about CF&L winning a CCJ against him it was news to him.

One should be careful when responding to advertising as there are many spammers who may loot your cash and may leave you frustrated and helpless. So, if you get any special offers from a fake id then do check if they are genuine before you reply for it.[FONT=&quot][/FONT]

well i have just contacted TAPA and they will sign me up for £68 then £8 per month after that and they guarantee me that i will not have to pay for it. they said they will fight it in court (if it goes as when they find out tapa are involved they they tend not to bother) and if they do lose they will pay the whole lot.

Is it also possible if you've paid via debit card i.e. from your current bank account?

I'm stupid enough to fall for these advertising scams and am down by £4,500 I feel so stupid, I wish I'd looked online earlier.

I've paid the majority from my bank and only a bit from credit cards.

Any help on how I can recover my money will be greatly appreciated.

Check TAPA out. Apparently they are also a Scam. ASA has no idea who they are!

Hi there, I'm haveing the same problem. What has happened? CCJ? Random bailiffs or anything? No one ever puts up what happened to them from start to finish!
