Problem with viewing MSE website

And yet the desktop on the same wireless network (same router) works fine!
I've just tried doing a hard reset of the router to see if that made any difference. It didn't. Probably time to reset all the passwords anyway though, so not a complete waste of time:-)

ANOTHER piece to the puzzle
Makes me think it might have something to do with the firewall then:idea:0 -
I think I may have cracked this.:j
The desktop, which works fine, plugs straight into the wireless router.
I unplugged that and plugged in the laptop instead - and MSE has loaded in all its colourful glory.
I therefore deduce that the problem relates to the wireless connection, in some way that I cannot fathom (possibly netgear driver corrupted or something).
I'll try uninstalling the wireless network software and then reinstalling and see if that is a permanent fix.

Yes that's it sorted:j
Thanks again for all your help. I can safely say that the laptop is now cleaner and more secure than it has ever been.
