The 70% sale has ended and I didn't take a print out of the T&Cs so I'm at a loss really

I very much doubt that the 7 day guarantee did apply and even if it did, you still have to pay the return carriage so I'm in a no win situation

Thanks - out of interest what else did you buy - you said you bought 9 pieces. I cant decide between light or dark - i'm leaning more on the light.

We also have coffee table, the console unit and another of the 2 draw cupboards.... Although we are considering if we even want the coffee table or console now, as we feel the room is much more spacious without (now we've re-organised) typical!

I don't know whether to get the large coffee table with two single ones underneath (long john style) or a smaller one. I think the former might be too big tbh. Which table did you get?

It is a big table, and we don't have a huge room.... Mine may go back on Ebay soon if I cannot find another place for it... OR I might be sawing it up and tryign to make a couple of shelves..

I spoke to Mr Walling and he offered either a £50 refund if we kept the unit or a full refund if we wanted to send it back.

Hubby is confident that he can repair the damage so we have decided to take the £50 compo.

They were really very helpful and said that the original email we received had been sent in error.

Definetely don't order until your ready to put them in their final position - its all solid HEAVY wood.

As I previously said, we filled our lounge with many pieces and THEN decided to have the wooden floor restored (means removing ALL the furniture from the room).... It was not fun

Love your couch mattwallisuk! You floor etc seem to really match with the oaksfurniturelands stuff.

Wife isn't keen on the lighter brown, but we've compromised on a dark brown sofa. Can't wait for it all to get delivered! :-)
