I came across Oak Furniture Land last week whilst looking for some information on cleaning furniture for someone else on this forum. I didn't notice at the time, but they've got a 50% off sale on at the moment. Looks like there could be some bargains on there.

There seems to be a lot of mixed opinion on the advertised thread.
I have spent some time looking elsewhere and it seems the same offer is discussed extensively on similar forums suggesting it has some merit.
There is also a mention of an addition 5% when you sign up for their company newsletter.0 -
I believe they are the same company as "containerclearancecompany" on ebay, at least the furniture and prices are the same.
The 50% off is not a special, the prices have been the same for months.
HOWEVER if you go via containerclearance on ebay, you can make a best offer around 10% below the asking price, and it will be accepted.
I have bought 8 large light mango wood (next Dakota style) items from the containerclearancecompany on ebay, and I must say the furniture is SUPERB as is the delivery. Nothing of mine has come damaged, and its always delivered within just a few days. Happy to post pictures if anyones after any of their light mango in particular.
It is finished nicely, but is also semi rustic wood, so the grain is like art in itself. Also bits like the underneaths are NOT finished and waxed, only the parts that show.... but its much cheaper than next! I give them 10/10 !The Head Honcho (does very little work)0 -
I have bought a table & 6 leather chairs, they were a complete bargain, look great and good quality. There is Quidco available and a discount code about too if you check out vouchercodes.com
As for the 50% off sale, the prices never change and they always have a sale...bit like DFS!!! Though would thoroughly recommend.0 -
After finding the site I did the fatal thing of browsing it for a while, then ended up being so tempted by this computer desk that I ordered one.
I will be receiving it next week, so I'll let you know how I get on... I'm quite excited actually :j0 -

I really need new bedroom furniture and have had over £2k worth in my basket all week but have yet to have the courage to checkout...If I hadn't seen such riches, I could live with being poor...0 -
For bedroom furniture of a VERY high quality you may wish to check out Bentley designs stuff. We searched high and low for good bedroom furniture (wanted to spend around £2000) and this stuff is absolutely stunning.
The funny thing is its sold on a lot of cheapo furniture sites online (even though its expensive and very nice). Take a look ad the "Lyon Oak" and "Lyon Walnut" ranges on furniture123.co.uk :

I know how you feel, I felt like that with my first on line transaction, but I spent £1100 on dining room furniture with them last year and it's lovely.0 -

Well, I was hoping to be debt-free by September and this would set that plan back a few months! Trying hard to resist... :Amattwallisuk wrote:For bedroom furniture of a VERY high quality you may wish to check out Bentley designs stuff.
