I see no reason to question it!
I just hope that the Asda customer services are more efficient than Tesco's Dundee crowd!!, and they haven't pulled the old policy out of the filing cabinet!
But what does "There's no limit on the amount of coupons you can use per transaction unless it is stated on the coupon." and "One temporary rule until we decide a more comprehensive policy is-
Only 1 internet coupon per product item in any single transaction - Unless the customer actually buys the product and in multiples that reflect the number of coupons tendered."
Does this now mean that they have no limit on the same non-internet coupons, unless it says "only one per transaction" or something similar? eg 10 x cobra £1 MOCs for a leg of lamb. Time will tell!;)It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)0 -
Regarding the Asda policy I thought this strange:-
We'd like you to spend the full amount of the voucher but it's up to you, if you would like change from your voucher then that's no problem at all.
Has anyone come across this before? I always shop in Tesco but cant imagine them giving change.2008£3002009£13002010£15002011£41952012£21942013£1494

we all missed the mixed thread.
had something coupon-related to say but my minds gone blank so no doubt i'll be back
so, again, i'll leave saying thank you!!
I REMEMBERED :T lol what i was going to say is;
Most of the couponnet - type coupons that are not on the couponnet main site (pedigree etc etc) have an option (just before you click print this coupon) the option says something along the lines of "don't have a printer?" If you click on this, then you can get them to post you the coupon to your address. you can then go back and print the coupon the amount of times you would normally be allowed.
You must do it this way around though - it has to be the "send to me by post" and THEN actually print - otherwise it will not work.
An extra coupon or two0 -

I've used one today and it scanned fine. How are the SA's supposed to know whether the item is stocked, especially if they work in an Extra where there are thousands of lines? Will they get into trouble? I wouldn't like for that to happen.0 -
I also used one today but asked the SA first if they stocked it as i hadn't checked......she said let's see if it's accepted and it went through. Would hate to get her into trouble as she is lovely.0

(This is the reply from Asda to an email sent by pondie1 - thanks for providing this for everyone to see.)
Thanks for getting in touch.
Our current policy regarding Coupons is as follows:
Manufactures Coupons
We accept money off coupons. You don't even have to buy the product shown on the coupon. As long as we stock it you can use your coupon against anything in the store.
Please note this doesn't apply to cigarettes and lottery
Branded Vouchers
If you have a voucher for a set amount from a branded company you can spend it on any product in our stores just as long as we stock that brand.
For example you may have a £10 Kellogg's voucher. We stock Kellogg's products so you can buy anything you want with your Kellogg's voucher even if the product you want isn't made by Kellogg's.
We'd like you to spend the full amount of the voucher but it's up to you, if you would like change from your voucher then that's no problem at all.
ASDA's Own Coupons
ASDA coupons (ones that show our name, often are found in the ASDA Magazine) can only be redeemed if you have actually bought the product shown on the coupon.
Number of Coupons per Transaction
There's no limit on the amount of coupons you can use per transaction unless it is stated on the coupon.
Internet Coupons
We accept Internet Coupons under the same stringent conditions as old style manufacturers' coupons:
1 That they are in date
2. They are not specific to different retailers (non Asda)
3. We stock the product
One temporary rule until we decide a more comprehensive policy is-
Only 1 internet coupon per product item in any single transaction - Unless the customer actually buys the product and in multiples that reflect the number of coupons tendered.
For a complete list of policies, please visit http://www.asda-corporate.com/policies.
If you need any extra help, please let us know.
Kind Regards
ASDA Service Team
Can I just check something at risk of sounding really daft? If I say print out £7 of coupons for different branded items, e.g £1 winalot, £1 nicorette etc and redeem them all at the same time will they be accepted giving me £7 off my shopping? Its the bit in bold thats confusing me a bit,
Thank you all
My local supermarket has next to no whoopsies for some reason at the moment, and I'm realy struggling trying to keep it cheap, healthy and varied at the moment.Feb GC £41.23/£90
Debt £0/£2140 (everything bar the mortgage). 16th Month 0% interest, ends May 2009.Mortgage - £54000Competitions won: Gu Chocolates (Jan n/r)
