Please can someone tell me if the vouchers/coupon that you print off have to be coloured to be accepted?

They probably don't have to be...but I wouldn't use black & white printables, personally. You are much more likely to get hassle at the checkout from staff thinking they are photocopies, than you normally would. Tesco cashiers can be grumpy enough as it is...

As a newbie you will soon learn that you can get hassle and rudeness at some stores and with some cashiers. Presenting black & white printables is asking for embarrassing treatment TBH.

Others may disagree but I prefer coloured prints and so would a store I reckon. I do wonder if they ever have any trouble redeeming internet ones when they are crappy b/w prints which look no better than a grotty photocopy.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

does tesco in willenhall wv13 2pz take coupons as i might go tomorrow thanks

Yes they take the coupons but a supervisor checks every one before they scan them because someone has been using photocopies. I go every day and it is really annoying when they refuse some of mine because they don't look right because the background picture looks faded on some couponnet coupons. I told them I can't control how that prints out and I don't want to do anything that would alter the coupon, all my coupons are originals. They are for the most part very nice there though, a lot nicer than Dudley anyway! Good luck, may see you there as I'll be going myself!

    My coloured ink ran out

any one else used the vouchers/coupons in black & white?

    i`m new to this!

very gratefull if some 1 could answer me question!!:p

    thank you:smiley::smiley:
I understand a few people on here do use b/w but at the Tescos I use they have to be in colour. They are checked very carefully these days and my friend had a full colour 1st print refused the other day as the print was not perfect...the bar code and her name etc were clear as anything , but the small print was deemed to be not clear enough...I know for certain she is not a coupon abuser and this was a perfectly good internet coupon, but she was told that the store is having more and more meetings about coupon abuse and staff are being very cautious.

    Hi

Has anyone had any joy with London Tescos taking MOCs please?

    Thanks.

I have just received an email which linked me to this coupon, I thought I had printed all the Airwick coupons but obviously have not had this one. Hopefully it will allow some of you to print one too.

    thank you judy2357

Actually I have tried this one again, just varied my details a bit and changed my email address and managed to print out another, perhaps you would like to give it a go!!

I would agree you are more likely to get hassle with B/W.
I started with colour prints, but as I am well known in my local stores now, they know that play by the rules, and they are happy with my black and whites. (it prints quicker, clearer and cheaper)
If you need to start out with B/W, try and have another set with you...(B/W or colour), since the ID's are different, it shows that they are not photocopied.
Also, just start with one or two to "test the water."
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)

  • Hi all! :j

I am quite new to couponing and I am running out of coupons. I just read there is a magazine called NUS with printable vouchers... did I read right? Can I print straight from the link provided in one of the posts here? Where do you purchase the magazine. Haven't seen it around.

    Thank you!

NUS Extra Discount Voucher Book - Link to voucher book sourced from an NUS email:

    http://nus.clikpages.co.uk/nusextra/discount-book-2009/

    Printable Vouchers.:T

20p off any Bacofoil Product - Page 14
5 Feasters Burgers for £5 - Page 54 (appears to be worth £3.46)
£1 of any Walls Product - Page 55
    Free 1 Litre of Just Milk - Page 57 (@ Somerfield & Sainsbury's Only)
10% off Homebase (NUS Card Required) - Page 68

Hate to go all 'Emperors New Clothes' on this but is this really a valid printable link or just a link to the 'e' version of the booklet? Seems like it's the same as the e-Metro debacle which has killed many a good moc for those lucky enough to get them (Not me sadly!) and do we really want to deny all those hard up students their chance of discounts? (OK, Probably yes!)
Did the email specifically say they could be printed? Nothing in the booklet says you can, just 'Refuse redemption' if copied on the Wall's one which is the only one I'm tempted to try....
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)
