  • Usually the vouchers will say if the shop accepts photocopies (e.g Borders book vouchers), so if the voucher has colour then print with colour, otherwise just print in B&W.

As far as I am aware no store knowingly takes photocopies. I also think its easier to print in colour as I can't actually think of a coupon that is only black and white.

Before anyone starts shouting 'awww...all OAPs are poor', I beg to differ. The vast majority of shoppers in my local M&S are elderly, with trolleys full of clothing & food. I only go in there to pick up £5 off £25 leaflets or to check out the last of the sale reductions, and get knocked aside in the OAP stampede every time!

All the OAPs I know are either not doing badly (or are flippin' well off), I know NONE who are poor. That includes relatives of mine who I love dearly - so I'm not an oldie-hater by any means. I am just saying it how it is IMHO.

TOTALLY agree with you! I never ever have been to m&s in the food section in Lewisham, Woolwich, (v.poor areas in London) without being sandwiched between OAPs with shedloads of stuff- is there some secret they know we don't? I would never dream of shopping for more a single apple/pear (whopping 75p!!) when treating myself- (yes this is really how I treat myself, its not a joke or exaggeration! I am that poor)

OAPs- are there any here? can anyone explain why so many hard up pensioners do their weekly food shop at M&S rather then Tescos/Sainsburys/Huge fruit, veg, food steet market which are very close by to both these M&S stores?

It might sound as if Im sitting on the fence here but I really dont think you can generalise whether you are talking about students OAPs or anyone else. There are obviously wealthy and poor students as well as wealthy and poor OAPs. Im not a pensioner yet although unfortunately heading that way fast but cant imagine that Im going to be a rich pensioner. Having said that I actually visited M&S on Saturday and purchased one jar of Chilli and Tomato sauce at a reasonable price of 79p. Actually I had 46p left on an gift card so it only cost me 33p so even in M&S there are bargains to be had.

  • can anyone tell me what the situation is with Morrisons accepting MOC's for purchases where you have actually bought the product?

If and only if you have bought the exact product they will accept a coupon.

The first page of the booklet is to the right the left being blank. You can put the page you want to go to . The burger one does not work in Tesco.

I get a blank page too (with copyright 2008) at the top????

Yes they take the coupons but a supervisor checks every one before they scan them because someone has been using photocopies. I go every day and it is really annoying when they refuse some of mine because they don't look right because the background picture looks faded on some couponnet coupons. I told them I can't control how that prints out and I don't want to do anything that would alter the coupon, all my coupons are originals. They are for the most part very nice there though, a lot nicer than Dudley anyway! Good luck, may see you there as I'll be going myself!

I agree about Dudley. Very occasionally theres a nice memeber of staff there but not often Willenhall are alot nicer and so are the staff at the Extra in Cradley Heath who has the same policy and last time I was there a few wks ago the supervisors didn't check the vouchers. xxxx

Hello I wondered if anyone can advise - I recently had to allow adobe reader 9 onto my computer to read some documents and now when I try to print from my pdf file it is so very slow - it takes about 5 minutes to print, stopping mid print for ages and then starting up again
Has anyone else had this problme and can anyone advise how to print properly again? It is so frustrating
    Thanks for any advice
