I should give it a bit of a trial run, take your shopping to the till, preferably a young lad or girl. When they ask for the Tesco card, pass over a few coupons too saying "could you take these please" or "heres some coupons". You will find some cashiers do take them and some dont.

    Thanks for the reply.

Under normal circumstances, I would. However I don't currently own a printer, so wanted to find out before I bought one.

If you find a happy scanner at your local Tesco I'm sure a tracing taken from the screen on a sheet of Izal should be acceptable.:rotfl:

Thank you for your help. When I first filled in my details and clicked the button to download the coupon, I just had a blank page and something popped up to say unable to open document. I do believe we have adobe reader(yes I've just checked)and also something called acrobat.com. Now when Re-do my details it just says that I have already downloaded it!!! Grrrrr!! thank you for helping me.
    okay...............
    1. Are you using Windows...if so what version (eg ME XP Vista)?
    2. What browser are you using? (eg Internet explore ror firefox)
    3. Change your details slightly..on each of the three lines and click to download again. If it gives you the option to open or save .......SAVE it........then we'll work out how you can open it!;)
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)

    I would say -

    Ask the Checkout Supervisor.
You dont wanna take a sack full of printable coupons and find out (or knowingly) that your T branch will not accept it & u have to pay full price for your shopping.

Or like another MSE user says :-

Find a nice lady/lad & try it (but I think your T branch management would have told all their staff not to accept it by now):-

Make up coupons from your original newspaper/magazines cutting & use it as back up, if your printable coupons are rejected at least you have spare set.

I am using Window vista Business, and internet explorer browser. I will change my details and see what happens. This has happened to me before many months ago and I cannot for the life of me remember how I got round it(memory lapses are a frequent occurance in this house!!!). Ta much, I will post later with results...hopefully.

ok......start by downloading firefox (free) from here and retry again using FF as the browser...then report back, so anyone else having the same problem can hopefully get the same solution.
As a forum we will get this coupon for you!!
