Well done for naming and shaming him. I hope plenty of genuine couponers read this info before it gets removed.

When you say "before it gets removed" you reveal your true colours.

This post (which you have copied and quoted) is against all the rules. And from your comment you know that.

People should not come here and post such personal details so that you and your posse can set aside your knitting for a few moments and abuse this guy.

How would you like your phone number up here?

You have a point, have to admit I didnt notice that it was posted by a new poster. Think Im too trusting and forget some people might have other motives.

I didn't think for one minute it was really a new poster...;) It wasn't posted by me but I expect it wasn't a newbie really, just an alter ego.

YOUR FRIEND IS RIGHT THE DAILY MAIL DOES HAVE A £2.30 OF COUPON VALID UNTIL 4/2/9 ON PAGE 57. I HAVE CHECKED ON TESCO.COM AND THEY DO STOCK IT. IVE JUST BEEN AND BROUGHT 7 X COPIES.
THATS £16.10 WORTH OF VOUCHERS FOR £3.50.A SAVING OF £12.60.
(EVEN MORE IF LIKE ME YOU PAY FOR THE PAPERS WITH THE MONEY OF COUPONS FROM MSE AND THE BRIDES MAG MOC)

SO FAR THIS YEAR I HAVE SAVED £160.00 USING MOC (I DO GOTO TESCO ONCE PER DAY EVERY DAY THOUGH. MY STORE WILL HAPPILY TAKE 10 X COUPONS PER DAY AS LONG AS THERE IN DATE AND STOCKED BY TESCO)

I HAVE EVEN ASKED THE SELF SERVICE SALES ASST IF I CAN HAVE MY OWN SWIPE CARD TO APPROVE COUPONS... IM ONLY JOKING..............BUT SHE HAS SAID I SHOULD HAVE MY OWN IT WOULD SAVE HER TIME STANDING THERE..

And if everyone who uses coupons did this then they will go the same way as the Haagen Dazs ones did a couple of months ago when the magazine people realise that tesco are submitting more coupons from the sale of the magazine than they are actually selling.

i do not think this is very fair to give out personal details even if he has done a terrible thing, i dont think one man would of made tesco stop internet moc, i think its more to do with many more people abusing the system , i have even read on here maybe another post , where ppl were going in 2 or 3 times a day to get little odds and sods and using MOC every time and getting there shopping for a few pence.
My 2 local tescos no longer take internet coupons even with the coupon policy shown from my bag,

personally i hope this man takes this further by someone submitting hes personal details on a website, how many more sites as this person submitted hes details. Also how many of you know this is true and the kook2 was not just giving a ex boyfriends details out to get back at him ? as this person has only ever posted 1 thread

It is perfectly possible for one person who abuses MOC's to get a store to review it's whole policy on MOC's.

It has happened in the past because of one big time abuser then hundreds and hundreds of people are penalised and no doubt it will continue happening.

You say how dont we know its his/her girlfriend. Its just as easy to say how do we know you are not in cahoots with them ?
  • Slightly OT, sorry, but I thought you guys would be the experts to ask :o

I bought some coupons on ebay and they arrived this morning. There's 2 different sorts (but for the same product) one for 30p off and 1 for a free item up to the value of £1.40. Problem is, the last 3 digits on the bar codes (before the last one) on both say '000x' - shouldn't they be '030x' and '140x'? :( Am I right to assume they won't scan with an actual amount? :( What a waste of money <slaps self>.
You can't control everything in life....... your hair was put on your head to remind you of that :p

If they don't work (and are genuine coupons), write to the manufacturer and tell them, send the receipt and ask the manufacturer to reimburse you.

I doubt you are talking about me, however I have done this. I rarely do 3 shops a day and only if there are a lot of MOCs to be had in newspapers/magazines that can only be had on that day. Going in, buying, going out to the car and then going straight back in and repeating is obviously going to get some eyebrows raised and potentially cause problems but there are more subtle ways. If you spread out your visits, say, go once in the morning, one in the late afternoon, and once in the evening, I don't see how anyone could object or even notice the "3 shops a day".

I have never been challenged on the few pence I had to pay. I do only use coupons from newspapers and magazines though (frankly, I get enough mocs from them not to need internet/printed coupons), so there is no doubt the coupons are genuine and I don't get the potential problems of internet coupons.

Done properly and subtlely, there is nothing wrong with multiple shops a day.

  • On Wednesday I applied or lots of samples registered on sites etc today I received a £6 MOC :j I'm busy this afternoon, but I will work out how I got it, and post the details.

    Deleted

This is a small company if they get 1000's of applications in the next week they may not send any out, so I will delete this post in 24 hours.

It seems as if this could soon be nationwide:eek:
Just a reminder that T stooped taking internet coupons once before - long before I knew about them but months later altered their policy back again, I presume because people voted with their feet and their takings went down
You would think they would have learned from that experience
my local T are not stopping coupons and a nice SA told me that there is no nationwide policy coming in - hope he is right.
