Mad has just outed himself as a sci-fi geek. I KNEW IT.
Now that I have neatly re-arranged all the toys back in my pram, I can back to the serious stuff:rotfl:
CJ...how could you!!!!!

His denials don't fool me! He slipped up with that cyberman reference there. I bet when Mad's not posting here, or shopping in Tesco, or drinking beer, or pining for cheese coupons, he's having chats about the medusa cascade or the shadow proclamation or [strike]Raxicorico[/strike] [strike]Raxicoricofalapat[/strike] the Tardis.0

Blimey, I messed up that strikethrough malarkey, didn't I? That'll teach me to try and be all clever by posting from my iPhone on the commute home from work!
I go now0 -

That just proves my original point - calling someone a fool for having a different opinion.
I couldn't see anything foolish in Quentin's comment
"Coupons also say things like "Do not attempt to redeem this against any other product", But it seems Tesco can't read that! They don't seem to care what the Ts + Cs say."
which was his reply to neas's post.
I have said it once and I'll say it again.
Tesco can accept (or deny) any coupon they choose. That is what the coupon policy is for. What they choose to do with the coupons after you give them to Tesco is their choice.
However, giving coupons that go against their policy is wrong. If they get coupons that they are not accounting for (due to getting vouchers they do not officially accept), they will change their policy to not allow any coupons unless you bought the product, which is what is happening now in many stores.
This ruins it for everyone.0 -
Oh, I see .... SQUARE brackets
Thank you!
Safe journeys home (or to buy beer) to all of you too. Catch up with you all again tomorrow0 -
