as a newbie dfw, i couldn't belive my eyes when i was browsing the site and discovered the tesco coupon policy so i emailed customer services last week, asking them to fully explain company policy on branded coupons (not store-specific) and this was the reply i received on feb 24 -

I would like to thankyou for your email in relation to our policy on accepting coupons in store.

All Tesco specific coupons display the Tesco logo. We'll only accept these at the till if you buy the product shown on the coupon at the time.

We're happy to accept a non-Tesco product coupon even if you don't buy the item. But, the coupon must be in date and Tesco must sell the product.

If you present more than one identical coupon you need to purchase the same number of products. This also includes coupons printed from the Internet. Some of these vouchers may be subject to acceptance at the discretion of your Store Manager. I hope this has helped to clarify things for you.

still dubious, i went in-store yesterday (friday) and approached customer services to query it, armed with my email. the assistant was lovely, knew exactly what i was talking about before i'd finished my question and told me all SAs have been fully briefed. i filled the trolley and saved £20 off a £50 shop. to top it off, the SA asked where i'd found the coupons and i gave her this site's address. she thanked me and explained her daughter and their family is struggling financially due to illness. money-saving and people-helping all in a tesco shop, aaah!

I was about to ask if M4rtin had sent his OH and her "azz" out, but as it only allows 1 print, M4rtin get her back out again and this time tell her to really shake it!

Sorry if this question as been asked before, I do try and keep up with the thread. I received the Drynites sample and coupons yesterday (many thanks to the person who posted) and I have successfully used the £1 coupon but have tried the 1.45 euro coupon in a couple of different Tescos today but have not been able to use it. Has anyone managed to use it or should I give up trying. TIA

Still no barcodes for these coupons. Pity as they had long expiry dates.

Nah sorry musta been mad with his ding-a-ling out!! Strange how it works ain't it!:D

Anyhoo as already said Print 1, Expires 14 days after printing, me forgot to put full name in name box so just printed Martin on the coupon.....Don't they know WHO I AM?:cool:
