  • I got a Chili 6100XS (actually made by Yamada) for £24 +delivery from Pixmania. It's very good, already region!free and the cheapest I have seen. (I got it for my sister as I already have a divx dvd player, but I'm jealous as the Chili looks nicer)
Okay, I'm outside my knowledge here.

According to the website, the Chili plays MPEG4 not DivX. I thought these were different formats, but I'd be very happy if they were the same...

EDIT: I've just found this on DivX Players UK
A standalone DivX Player is a DVD player which plays movies and video which has been compressed using the new MPEG4 standard such as DivX or XviD. Movies which have been compressed using DivX or XviD are much smaller than standard DVD's and the quality can be much higher than VCD / SVCD
I'm very tempted to get one myself - how did it look
