I'm in....... Nice Boiler Man is here fitting the new boiler, so I have tidied the bedroom, done the floordrobe shuffle and a good dust & polish. Won't vacuum at the moment as I have three sulky cats confined to the upstairs, hall and living room, while N-B Man treks back and forward through the garage to his van and back (the road that we live on is LETHAL to cats.......supposed to be 30mph but it is a wide straight road and most drivers do at least 40, so the cats are "indoor pampered !!!!!!s"). The three of them loathe the Dyson and are already discombobulated enough (strange man in the house).

Changed the bed-linen on Saturday as DH had a tooth extracted on Friday and when we woke up on Saturday, he had bled all over the pillow, poor lad.

Have spent a happy hour with the Dobies catalogue, planning the vegetable garden for the coming year........now I need to sort out the sewing room and the spare room as N-B Man will need to access the radiators to change the valves to thermostatics.

Hugs to all who need them ........... will see if I have something yellow AnW'sMum for Thursday and will be thinking of you and the children.

Ah well, better get back to Flying (the house looks pretty chaotic at the moment but I suppose it can't be helped when you're in the middle of a refurb!).

  • Hi,

Hope everyone is well. So far today I've done errands. My aims for the rest of the day are to do more errands, baby-sit great nephew for an hour, do laundry, check washing-up & bins & tidy up

    Quick flying update
    I have

    Washed dishes
    WM on (just finished)
    Decluttered and swept kitchen floor
Decluttered and swept tiny passage floor
    Decluttered and swept bathroom floor.

Want to (I say want to because I CBA really)
    Wash all the floors downstairs
    Start on Pigpens list
Pull out ALL cupboards and drawers in the house and have a SERIOUS declutter(haha, yeah right. but I have the urge!!!)

I am feeling really tearful today, I really dont know why. There are no major problems in my life at the moment, kids have calmed down since DS1 went back to school, house is fairly decent if you dont look to closely, garden needs sorting(but that can wait another week or so).
So whats wrong with me??!?!? I hate being like this, feel like crying for nothing!

Yay! No call from supply agency so I'll be off to the gym this avo. Was just going to go for a swim but it's too easy to stop when I'm tired, so will go for a proper workout with my headphones for the tv. Have just read a bit of the Weight loss old style thread and have decided to keep a food diary to see why I'm putting on weight. I'm writing it in my normal diary so I'll remember to do it when I'm looking at work appointments. It's already given me the motivation to get rid of some of the things in my lunchbox for tomorrow that weren't really necessary.

Off to empty and reload TD now and put a final load of washing on for today. Weather here is horrible and I'm getting quite chilly so going to the gym is probably a good idea anyway cos it'll warm me up. lol

I'm going to weigh myself when I'm there and write down my BMI etc so I can post it in my signature like you guys have been doing so it'll help motivate me.

    See you all later,

    sexymouse xx

Flower - let me know if you fancy a cuppa in JL when you are up here. Are the flats nearly finished?
Yes, we did the show flat at the end of last year, but are working on the entrance as it has just been finished (think they left it till last as builders, etc walking through all the time)... I will let you know which dates - coffee would be great... ;)

  • Things didn't go QUITE to plan this morning - should have got DS up at 7am, but overslept and got him up just after 9am... he was supposed to be in college for 8.30am... maybe he will set his alarm from now on... rushed to get ready and dropped him off with lunch, etc so at least he got there...

So while I was out I went shopping, went to farm shop for dog food, tried to change savings card numbers on cashpoint but wouldn't let me for some strange reason??? and posted my letters... Then came home, had something to eat, caught up on here (nearly an hour!!! I must stop doing that!) and am about to go round my mums to sort out her computer...

Feeling a bit tired again, but will press on and get over it as I am determined not to sleep so I can sleep tonight... See you all later.. x

  • Summer - if you're sticking to your MACAW, your body might be rebelling - it could be your body's way of demanding chocolate - when I'm being strict with my diet, my mood dips quicker than my weightloss - brazil nuts and bananas are good mood elevators if you want to avoid :EasterBun
