afternoon all :hello:
I've finally managed to catch up the thread!
the wind is howling up/down my chimney
the rain sounded so bad, it was putting me off going outside(I need to pick up a reservation from argos, and have no car , so will get very wet!) then, when I looked out of my window, I could see that the rain was tumbling from my neighbours roof straight down onto a bin. so I popped across the road to move the bin, so it couldn't land on it anymore! Now the weather sounds much more normal and I won't get a headache from the sound!!:j

I'm trying to sort my bedroom but it's going slowly! Got bad indigestion as well which isn't helping
And I just priced a new mattress the same make as what we have now...about £800/£900! We've had this one at least 8 years now, how long are they supposed to last?
Think I might just clear and vacuum under the bed and then sit down. Have sewing to do as soon as the children get home.Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Polly - you are getting on great - which blind man is coming? I need a blind for the ktichen, the window has been bare since I decorated in September!
The blind man has been and measured up and it's going to be fitted next Monday afternoon. That'll make DH get on and finish the painting next weekend. We both agree I'm bad at painting so I only do first coats, he has to do the rest!
It's a local company (Northavon Blinds). I don't know if it's the cheapest but we've used them before and the blinds are good.0 -
