Morning everybody
I am up and have had brekkie but dont feel awake so will do my replies while the coffee kicks in!!

I came back on just before 11.00 last night to catch up and to tell you about my ebay and the forum closed down at 11pm!!! I didnt know it was having maintenance - so I went to bed instead!!
I see from some of your posts it wasnt off for long but I didnt wait to see.

Anyway I managed to get my 21 lots on so thats a job done and a start to the massive toots decluttering plan!!! Ha ha!!! what a joke but will keep trying!!

dusty glad you felt a bit better last night - thats quite a list for you - not sure about number 6 though

hawthorn glad you are managing to sleep better - it makes a huge difference.
gsysezz hugs and of course you can rant - thats what its all about here - support - dont you get SSP? Nice bit of MSE-ing for Ds birthday - the food doesnt have to be overly fancy or expensive - 8 year old boys will eat all before them!! And now that you have resigned get online to your job centre and see whats going while you are stuck at home you could be doing letters, application forms etc.
G&B hope the LO makes good progress and the appointment today goes well.
MOF77 hope everything is ok after the storm - is your sister ok? The towells sound like a nightmare - what about some white vinegar/borax/soda crystals - would any of these help cut through the grease - and you need to do clean wash on your WM too to keep it clear - sorry probably telling you what you already know!
denizeNZ as the others have said - clear that washing from the board - either into the basket for doing or just put it away un-ironed for now and fold up the board - clear everything off that beautiful duchess dressing table (I want it) onto a tray or basket - clean the dressing table and put on a pretty doilly - nothing else is allowed on there for a week - even if you have to put a notice on the mirror - do not put anything on the d/table - just keep it clear until you have got into the habit of putting things in drawers. deal with the stuff you cleared off in a HHC - bin bits, put bits where they belong or find homes for things - may involve a drawer clean -up - only do one at a time! That would be my suggestion but maybe you can tweak it to suit you a bit HTH and it is by no means that bad - I have worse!!!

So much for me not flying today! I've just been reminded that my mum is coming here to get her feet done by the chiropodist (she has it done here rather than at her house - can't remember why). This means I need to wash my hair (wasn't going to bother today) and tidy up as the chiropodist is also a client of mine!

Morning guys

Sexy - I got your phone call so I've been in and invigilated an exam this morning.

My arms and back are a bit achy from having to carry DS2 alot yesterday (all 5 stone of him!). Poor thing, his ankle is no better so he is on the sofa with Woody who is really enjoying him being home.

I'm going do a couple of bits off my list then head off to town so I can be back in time to sort out DS2's lunch.

Emails and phone calls first I think.

Flower - let me know if you fancy a cuppa in JL when you are up here. Are the flats nearly finished?

Still lots to do as i have to rejig the room to get the cot bed in. wish me luck the dust bunnies might get me!

This weeks MACAW (Make a Change a Week challenge...To drink at least 8 glasses of water a day. Have been getting headaches and generally feeling tired mid-afternoon, which I think is down to de-hydration.

I didnt sleep well in between coughing and hearing strange noises. Im sure next door do stuff during the night.

Im going to go and see mum shortly as I know she will be worrying. Im taxing there and back as its raining here. Been looking for my catarrah pastilles for 2 days. Last night I dreamt where they were and when I looked this morning they were there. Spooky.

You had me worried then - I was having a blonde moment and thinking I didn't call Dusty! Then it clicked! :rotfl: Next week is looking nice and full with supply dates - they're all in the school I was in before Christmas and in Year 3 again (Tuesday PM, Wednesday All Day, Thursday PM).

Had a phonecall earlier saying they can't cut my hair tonight as the supervisor is off sick, so I'm having it done on Wednesday instead (fingers crossed). I'm hoping I don't get a call for supply this afternoon cos I need to go to the gym! My work trousers are all getting obscenely tight, so need to do something about it. It's too late to go to the gym now, cos I could get called to go somewhere for 12.

Right, off to put the now finished load of washing in the TD in the garage. OH has finally finished the wiring out there now, so I don't have to plug it in to an extension lead that runs through the catflap. :T Black furry is still on the bed, so will have to do the hoovering round the rest of the house first.:rolleyes:

AnW - I haven't got anything yellow, but I'm going to see if I can find something to wear. I have changed my avatar though and will be carrying a gold/yellow folder

Well my plan for today has gone to pot again :rolleyes: DD spent the entire night coughing in fits and starts, at one point she kept coughing for so long and so hard she made herself sick! So she's wrapped up on the sofa, being fed hot drinks & hot meals, and has been told to rest! She's not allowed to move unless its to eat or go the toilet.

Flying plan for today :

• Dishes
• Meals
• Ironing.
• NVQ paperwork
  • Knowledge questions for units 001, 002, 003, 004, 005, 009, 016
  • Explanations for 016 Just need to see if I have the "display policies" from school
  • Type up handwritten work for 002
  • witness testimony for 009

Right, finances, email and ebay then on with my NVQ stuff :wave:

SSP? Do you mean sick pay. No I have an hourly pay rate and no sick pay. I need to go and get another sick note to get social security sick pay but the Dr appointment will probably cost me more than I get

I have now discovered the boiler has gone bust. if I am to get the repair man in today then I need to spend the next couple of hours unearthing the boiler cupboard. This is the 3rd time in about a year, I think I need a new one:eek:
