Greenbee - I did all mine - and I mean ALL mine bar laundry and bedchanging on Thursday (LR done by my mum) - but that's because since I have been here I have
    a system
    encouragement
    support
(and I don't clean kids room just vacuum and 'skim' with their help..I expect them to clean)
Two bags to charity shop tomorrow and an envelope for our Toots
Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY

Which should mean that I can also get the whole lot done before the cake testing starts on Sunday afternoon (I've got 2 hours of Yoga & Pilates on Sunday morning too!), as mine should just be superficial. I know for a fact that the bath/shower/tiles/shower curtain are clean from this morning :D

    See you tomorrow...

Pigpen - glad to hear of Tabitha's safe arrival - she is gorgeous. Congratulations to your sis & BIL. Hope it all works out ok for DS1.

Done little flying - need to tackle the kitchen tomorrow - I'd be mortified if someone turned up here at the moment!
Don't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli

  • Night all. Welcome to all new to the thread.
I have not done much flying this week so house is almost back to square one. After one month of flying it is better then it was.

I had my department review this week and last and it’s over now. My bits were satisfactory with elements of good and to be honest I am satisfied with that. My review is not as good as previous years but I have had a challenging last couple of years and DD is only 6m so I am not mortified. As vivw sig says good enough is just that, good enough (thanks vivw).

I have been hitting my self over the head in the last couple of days as DD weight has dropped from the 25th percentile to the 2nd percentile since I have started back work (major guilt trip). So HV called me in for a long chat after work on wed. I asked if she had the Bfed baby chart as I had not managed to find it online and she photo copied and unofficial one for me. I have plotted DD’s weight on it and it looks a little better. She is about the normal Bfed shape curve hovering around the 9th percentile.

So instead of flying I have been scouring weaning sites and books to try to work out what’s best for my situation. A lot of what HV suggested was useful but some of it dated and not matching current research. So my dilemma is between tried and tested experience and current recommendations based on latest research. I am not sure why I am hung up over it but I need to find a balance that I can work with.

Tonight I have collected all the clothes hanging about and put it all in one place to sort tom, declutted LR and DR floor to vac tom and done the washing up. Dinner has been from the freezer. Except DD’s who has had avocado and banana mash, fatten her up a bit.

Congrats pigpen on your new DN and best wishes to her parents. Hope your cousin’s LO continues to do well. (((Hugs))) to all who need them.

Off to sleep now so that I am well rested for a flying marathon tom.
    Night all, Happy flying
    irie.
The work will wait for you to finish showing the LOs the rainbow, but the rainbow would not wait for you to finish the work.

I don't want to catch up on other stuff I want to make progress with the junk.. I always feel like I have to be tidying it instead I'll be able to fling it!
Exactly - have you booked a time with her when no-one else will be there so you can fling to your hearts content with no distractions? :j :j :j
Seems to have spurred you on knowing she's coming, so well done on a productive day today - glad you found the shoes and other stuff too...

Soappie, what a lovely thing to do, I am sure it will be great fun but even so, well done for making that extra effort so few would do...

This weekend I will be seamstress.gifa throw and taking up curtains, some vacuum3.gif, a little shop.gif, doing the HSdishes.gif Lots of HSwash.gif, people566.gif and HSiron.gif .

I will mainly be doing lots of HStype.gif though (oooh, I sound like the fast show...) - Aug, Sept, Oct, Nov, Dec and this months accounts all need to go onto the new accounting system ASAP and it's mind-numbingly boring... never mind, it pays well (keep saying that, it helps... ) I think I will need lots of coffee.gif...........

Not totally caught up so HShugs2.gif to those who need them, take care of yourselves everyone...
