Dusty - hang on to the cards. When I went through my loft about a year ago, I went through the box with loads of old cards in it. I found one which was written by DS's Great Grandma when he was about a year old. It had quite a long personal message in it to him. She died a year later. I had completely forgotten about that card. But now I've rediscovered it, it's been put in a safer place.. I'll let DS have it at some pointI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

That's a very good dailies list - sorry if I pre-empted Valli - she may have picked an eaiser one! And, I think the most important thing on that list is the medication one. The rest can go hang if needs be

This evening has been a bit of a washout... I left work in time to get to the gym, but the M4 was at a standstill, so didn't get there. Came home via the supermarket - but it didn't have what I was looking for, although I picked up a few bits and pieces.
Since I got back I have done very little, and after the late evenings this week with yoga & pilates, the house is OK, but needs quite a bit doing and I don't have the energy at the moment. I've sent off yet more reminders to my team about expenses and travel policies (why can't they read them BEFORE they book . I don't want them to be out of pocket, but I can't sign off if they breach policy, and quite frankly I don't see why the company should pay more just because they don't bother to plan properly and use the company contracts to get the best price! Much as I dislike planning ahead, I have to get my travel & hotels authorised and plan it in advance!
I've also worked out some more leave dates, found a cake decorating course that I'm going to book (little brother's wedding cake is a great excuse). Having seen the price of wedding cakes I'm really not surprised they've asked me to make it, and realised that I've lost the invoice from the tree surgeon so need to muck out my work bag and do some tidying tomorrow in the hope that it turns up.
I'm off to bed as soon as I've made my hot waterbottles, and am hoping that I'll wake up bright and early and full of energy so I get my weekend list done (will post while the kettle is boiling), but suspect I'm more likely to lie awake reading until 2am... oooh... have just realised... I've got some bedtime tea, I'll try that!
I know I've missed lots of things I wanted to say, and can't remember what I have and haven't said, but in case I forgot - congratulations to Pigpen on becoming an aunty :T0 -
Ooooops - Toots - I didn't mean to infer that you NEED medication, it's just that I know you REQUIRE it....:o?:rotfl:?
Gawd, I'm digging myself into a deeper hole here.
What I really mean to say is that I know you're on drugs.... Doh! - I mean the prescribed type of course! For a medical condition that's not related to drug taking or mental health issues etc. etc. So you must make sure you pop your pills at the prescribed time because we need you here
Hugs n stuff
