We're still decluttering the finances - DH has just phoned one company to cancel the direct debit and was offered 10,000 pounds credit limit....we spent ten minutes deciding what to buy!!! Don't worry - we said no and cancelled anyway! He's now on the phone to Tiscali dealing with an ongoing complaint since last September!!!! They've been overcharging, carp service and no service etc. Lets see how he gets on! I think someone has kidnapped my DH and put this on in place as my DH NEVER does finances etc. I'll let this one stay! xx

Pigpen she's gorgeous - and now I've got all broody again :rolleyes::rotfl:

Just sold our washing machine - and nearly did my back in helping the man who bought it lift it into his van. Luckily a workman from a new house being built across the road came back from his lunch and helped him. The money has been safely locked into my little money box along with the £150 I got the other week, so savings are adding up :D

Changed the beds today and done two loads of washing.

Just going to update my accounts (after Doctors which has just started)

Hubby is asking the cleaner at work about doing a couple of hours a week in here... I can't do everything and it is only going to get worse.. so I'll rope in some help!

Ohh, hope she says yes for you - just coming home and it's been cleaned and tidied makes it so much easier to do the other stuff doesn't it (and I'm very jealous..) - fingers crossed for you she says yes Pigpen...

Mudbath - take those walks easy Mrs - don't want you overdoing it and hope you weren't using your special trainers (are they called MBT's? I've forgotten...)

Oh, Valli - so glad you've got Penfold back - I love him... :D What's this about you've done all your housework? I think I will have to try to catch up in a bit...

Hugs Hex - It's awful when you feel like that - I know my friends are a long way away and I'm billy no-mates too, so can really sympathise with you... Don't forget though, once you've set up the new room and have finished decluttering it will be wonderful - then you can ask your neighbour in for a coffee to talk about the wall and other stuff... :D

ETA: Ooooh, flying bit - am working at the moment so not much time, but I have sorted out all the videos and DVD's on the dining table into those in the right cases, those with no cases and empty cases... still a way to go though...

In my first HHC with Toots I went and rescued neighbours Blue Box which was sneaking down the road and put it in a safe place...
Put my new MP3 player (Zen from Morrisons £20 and it's rechargeable) on to charge
Made DS and DDs beds inc clean duvet cover for DD as she has had a cold and she has nosebleeds and it looked like someone has been practising butchery on it...
    Put some ironing away.

I have 2 long sleeved boys school shirts age 11/12 if anyone's interested? DS stopped wearing them early on as he preferred short sleeves. All buttons attached (unusually!) one is VGC the other is not bad but has a pen mark on a sleeve and a black mark at the bottom of the back (so would be fine under a jumper). If anyone's interested shout today or they go to a charity shop tomorrow...no problem if you just want the good one!

    (BTW DS is 15!)

Off to work alongside Holly now...
