Came v.v. close to splurging on a Body Shop glitch thanks to the demonic residents of the grabbit board. Three 200ml body butters and three cranberry shower gels for a tenner plus cashback from Quidco. But then I saw sense. I have enough body butter to last an entire year. Why on earth would I want more apart from the fabulous smell of course and because its nice to have a little treat once in a while and .... I'm just making excuses really. Offer endds at 12 noon today. Only 36 minutes to avoid whipping out my wallet and entering my card details. Off to do distracting domesticated things. I will not splurge. Not even a teeny bit.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Have finished and DooYooed Angels. 4 more reviews to go to payout.
Off to scrape the dried on cat food off the kitchen floor before returning to school to see if theres a lynch mob waiting for me. The genius that is masquarading as the building site foreman disconected the water to the loos on saturday leaving the entire staff sharing a single toilet, the 15 minute mid morning break could have been rather interesting in a rugby scrum way. Especially as I didn't leave enough loo roll for that many people. Oops. Hopefully someone knows where we keep the spares.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
Have claimed my first £10 payout from Shop and Scan.
No further distractions. Really do need to do the kitchen floor before going back to work.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -

The people of DooYoo are back on form. Todays PM was concerning the lack of apostrophes in my reviews. Its like being back in a high school English class. I swear if there was a "correct with red pen" button some of them would be ecstatic. SO there you have it my guilty little secret. I never learnt how to use apostrophes, or at least I did but I can't remeber it and more importantly I really couldn't acare less. The sky is not going to come crashing down. I can spot them in the wrong place but I spend so long agonising about where to put them that I've forgotten what I was going to type in the first place. I did vaguely consider ordering Eats Shoots & Leaves from the library but only fleetingly in the way you wonder whether it should be Cookie Dough or Choc Chip ice cream as you lob a tub in the trolley.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500

Was planning to bake some cakes for the DDs lunch boxes last night but couldn't stay awake. Was treated to an in depth explaination of something technical but got confused after the first 5 minutes of explaination (possibly even long beofre that) so nodded along at appropriate junctures, occasionally asking a random question which resulted in an even more confusing explaination. It should be written into the marrigage vows that the only accpetable response to "How was your day dear" should be short, sweet and mildly ammusing. Although I'm guilty of not being able to achieve that either.
Spent yesterday chaufeuring a telephone booth between villages. bet Clarke Kent never had that trouble. Wedged it into the car but then couldn't get it out again. Took almost 10 minutes to work out how the chuff we'd got it in there in the first place and then repeat the process in reverse. Still it got me out of the building nano seconds after I dropped the bombshell that the builders had disabled the gents and the ladies and all tea making facilities and it couldn't be reconnected without flooding the place. Of course the plumber was no where to be found having worked his magic on Saturday and Q.F.O.'d.Saving for a Spinning Wheel and other random splurges : £183.500 -
All of which brings me swiflt on to today. Apparently the builders are breaking through the wall into the staffroom which until 5:30pm last night was full of people having staff meetings. In theroy it will be a barran wasteland by 7:45am but since I'm not unlocking the building until 7:50 that won't exactly be happening. I still have a kitchen to dismantle and move although I stripped everything else out before I left last night. I can see this getting rather interesting.
Need to squeeze in a trip to Lidl as we're out of bread (Lidl being in the middle of nowhere is less tempting than Aldi which is surrounded by other shops). Will take the shoppy gadget and do it as I load the stuff into the car to save irritating OH who is working lates today. Just need to remeber to chuck the shoppy gadget into the car before leaving for school.
Other excitement involves ironing and vacuuming and a major scrub of the bathroom. OHs friend is coming for the weekend with his puppy so also need to make space for an enormous dog cage and remove anything remotely chewable from DD2s room.
Hoping the bin men don't get a herniz as today is bin day and the bin is v.v. heavy. Still the rubble pile in the front garden is diminishing rapidly. Another year of this and I won't need to get a skip after all. Not that theres anywhere to put one but the thought did briefly cross my mind.

I bought a fridge with my shop and scan money. I hadn't realised that what i had in my account was not £29 but 29 x £10.....what a divvy!!! When you have been with them a while you may get invited to do some of their other things. My SIL sends in petrol receipts and I do snack texting which can pay £10 a week depending on how many items I text in.0
