I ordered some products from an online store, paid the extra for guranteed next day delivery, i.e. today. At 1730 i ring City Link to find out when it was going to be delivered, they then said laughing "oh we delivered it to a different address and its signed for" they gave me the person's name no neighbours have that name.
They then hung up, the company who I bought products off state its a problem with the courier. They really don't care even when you goto them in person and ask for explanation.
Whats my next step, i am at a real loss as what to do.
Any help appreciated.

phone your credit card provider, explain that supplier states its a courier problem and courier admits delivering item to address other than your billing address to a name not related to any of your immediate neighbours and ask for a chargeback as goods have not been supplied if they refuse to chargeback and goods value is £100 or more then claim under section 75 of the consumer credit actI have a cunning plan!
Proud to be dealing with my debts.0 -

Here;s the (hopefully) helpful bit,-
As far as you are concerned they have LOST the dekivery. You shouldn't concern yourself with trying to find which neighbour it was (if at all) delivered to. If they start ranting about that tell them your not interested - It's their problem let them sort it. It's not up to the consignee to 'hunt' for mis-delivered or stolen packages.Light blue touchpaper and stand well back !0 -

In actual fact thay have not "Lost" the delivery, you have in fact not "Received" the delivery. Therfore it is down to the company you have ordered the goods from, phone them back up and tell them they need to either send replacement goods (and refund for the postage, as it was not delivered in the time scale you paid for) or just ask them for a refund and buy the goods elsewhere. As it stands the company you purchsed the items from should be contacting city link, it is them who have the contract with each other, your contract is only with the company you purchased the goods from. DONT be fobbed off by customer service staff who don't know what they are on about.0 -
You will see I had a similar experience to you see here:- http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=130660
I would do as I did, get the supplier to do the leg work (mind you it took a while, but there were public holidays, when I had the issue). If your goods turn up, get them to refund the p&p and ask for a goodwill gesture. Even if they have to resend the goods, ask for the same, after all you didn't get the service you paid for, and it wasn't your fault.
PS Can't remember how to shorten links - sorry.0
