Credit crunched, you say you have understanding but you obviously have none...

Some people make genuine claims and don't want to go for agreements back, its a last resort if the lender/brokers etc use the legal systems against them they resort to using it back. People are losing their homes... I really cannot understand your post.

    Simple
    You borrow money.
    You spend the money
You pay it back as agreed.
It makes the world go round.

  • I don't know what's funnier, the first page of p*sstake posts or the last few people completely missing the joke. :D

That said, I've got this CCA with Barclaycard. It doesn't, for some reason, say anything about having to pay the debt back if I burn down their head office. I've got a can of petrol and some matches ready to go and a train ticket to the town concerned, do I still have to pay the debt back? Pls reply quick, train leaves in 25 minutes.

Grief guys, get a life, you need to get out a bit more.
I am a former Broker, former IFA and former compliance officer, for my sins.

However, I have since seen the light.

Obviously the sense of humour element of your personality by-passed you. It was a light hearted post that many people got and enjoyed by posting funny comments.

Realx a little, it really does make a difference.

Hark who is talking coming from one that blamed his job loss on the PPI reclaimers....

Credit crunched, you have little knowledge of the real world... you lost your job cause we fought back for our money that was wrongly taken from us in the first place. There is just no money in it now for you as most people are aware... You really need to lighten up.... ;) A really helpful thread this.....

I don't think that families losing their homes cause they got some dodgy salesperson to get them to sign for PPI just to get their big commissions is anything to joke about...

Citizens Advice found that 85 per cent of its clients who had claimed on one of these policies had been unsuccessful.

An estimated 20 million of these policies are in force today - generating £5bn a year for lenders.

Let alone what the poor salesperson of these must have lost out on....
LIghten up credit crunched...you will find another job soon....;) (HURTS DOESN'T IT!!!)

Most people only want back the PPI but when trying to reclaim they have legal arguments thrown at them (knowing well that they only have the courts to use to get back what was wrongfully taken and don't have the bottle to go it alone) so maybe they try to throw the legal arguments back. This is where using things wrong in their agreements comes from. They try to play fair first...

    What goes around, comes around....

    Have a nice day...

    Lol - feel better now?

I have found a job thank you, maybe you should try it, however your concern is re-assuring.
