Have a look at the other auction sites such as 121bid.co.uk, this one is 100% free, the problem with eBay is the fees are high. Not only the fees to list and sell an item, but if you use Paypal to receive the payment then PP will take a slice of your pie to the sum of about 4%. eBay fees are much more complicated and depend on the the price of the item and reserve price etc. There is an initial listing fee, then a percentage fee when the item is sold.

Of course the upside to eBay is that there are 15million potential buyers of your item.
  • Hi All

Have sold 4 of the 5 items I listed on ebay, making a grand total of...wait for it....£7.82 :rotfl: :rotfl: !!!! Well, I'm pleased anyway! I've only got some low value items to list, but at least it's a positive outcome. Will update my signature once I know the postage costs etc.

Have already listed another 6 items to end next sunday.;)

Well done to hopehope and MrsPorridge for exceeding your targets - I'm very impressed!

Hoorah - I finally listed my silly coats on ebay. Been hanging around since Christmas taking up room, so I feel pleased that hopefully in a week they'll be gone.
