Anyone up for an Ebay/Amazon challenge?

I know there was one around a few months ago but I wanted to start a nice new shiney one rather than try and get involved in an existing one.
I want to be debt free by the end of 2009 and the simple fact is unless I hugely increase my income this won't happen. I have quite a lot of bits and bobs I could list on Ebay and get some extra monies coming in but I have lost my mojo.
So I am thinking a challenge may be in order.
Was thinking we can either do it two ways dependent what any joiners think We could either do list x amount per day, week, etc or an alternative I thought was to name a debt and look to raise that amount.
I'll see how many peeps wish to join in first as it could just be me lol

Hiya! I've been selling stuff that was squirrelled away in the loft for the past 6 months or so to try to keep my head above water each month. I have cleared out loads of junk!!
Now that I'm starting a DMP I'm still going to sell whatever bits I come across but it'll be going into a separate savings account for stuff like the car tax (due in March...eek!) There's very little of any great value really but a few quid here and there soon mounts up.
My target for 2009 is to raise £500 through eBay sales by the end of May.DWF Nerd number 1118LBM 13/01/2009, debts £29100.00 appx. Debts at [STRIKE]04/05/2011 = £22000.00[/STRIKE]22/05/2013 = £17500.00.

I'm in, I want to be debt free by the end of 2009 too and have so much clutter I could get rid of!0

i'm in i'm in! also plan on being debt free this year. think i'll aim for £200 a month. eep!0
-
I'll join too. Need some motivation to list loads of things that are lying around.
Think a monthly target is probably best to give time for auctions to end, payment received etc. What do you think?
Or what about a target of, list one thing every day?DFW Official Nerd Club #1114

Definately go for it! I spent a morning two weeks ago listing outgrown kids clothes, shoes I'd bought and never worn and odd bits of tat I had lying around in the house. It all finished yesterday and after Ebay and paypal fees, I reckon I'll clear £150. Not bad for what I reckon will be, including post office runs, four hours work. I find it all a terrible faff, listing stuff on ebay, but every time I do it I'm glad I did.0

I decided to sell some stuff on ebay to help with the post-Christmas financial situation. I listed 19 items (2 wii games, 1 DVD box set and the rest are clothes or shoes) and so far I'm up to £159!! All my items finish tomorrow (followed the advice on here that Sunday is the best day for an item to end!
)
None of my items are designer. They are all from high street stores. Seems more people are turning to ebay recently.
I stuck up plenty of pictures of each of my items on each listing. I know it really annoys me when I can't see an item properly and putting plenty of clear pictures up seems to have done the trick. It took a bit of extra time but I've already exceeded the amount I expected to earn from these items so its definitely been worth it.
I hope you all do equally as well, if not better0 -
Hiya
I am going to have a go too. Have loads of stuff littered around the place to do and i don't have any mojo either. i was going to wait for a free or cheap listing day. Anyone know when the next on is?0 -
